Alright, so after the new Internet Explorer upgrade and mass laggage, finally decided to switch to Firefox a while ago, so excuse some of my noobisms with this provider. :P
Everything worked fine until a few days ago, when my power shut on and off 3-4 times in a row. o.o
It seems I can't save images. Normally the download box pops up (and I checked, I have it enabled in options and whatnot), but now that doesn't even pop up anymore and the picture I want to save doesn't show up anywhere in my folders at all. It's weird, cause I have no problems saving a picture from let's say Photoshop, but I can't right-click an image on the net and then save it to my hard disk.

Any idea how to fix this? o.o

Hmm, I'm not sure because it may have something to do with all those power outages. My first piece of advice would be to try reinstalling Firefox. If that doesn't work, you can always copy an image and then save it. It's a bit of a hassle, sure, but it's either that or the lagtasticness of I.E.

xD That sucks it shut off a few times in a row.

It just sounds like there's an error in your firefox javascript, possibly messing with some ActiveX. I'm not sure if this is the case or not though, but it's javascript that makes that menu pop up.

Can you right click the image and go to "Save Image As"?

Yeah I can o.o I have no idea what the problem is, I remember on IE after a while I got a weird problem saving images as well, but that was completely different (what happened there was, after a while it would ONLY save images as .bmp, even if the original was .jpg or .gif).
Thanks for trying to help, guys xD

No need to say thanks, yew are a friend. :p

Did you download the latest version of Firefox?

Also, when you said you ensured you had it enabled, do you mean bringing up the download menu? Like for example, in the options menu, when you go to the Downloads tab, and have a check next to "Show Download manager when download begins"?

If you do, then click on "View & Edit Actions", and search for any picture extensions. If you have some in the list, then change the action to "Save them onto my computer". If yew don't have any at all, then we gotta look further into the problem. P:

Maybe the browser didn't cached the images? Some images can't be cached and when I want to save them I can only save them as .bmp.

Did you try Mozilla Firefox's Support Forum (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38)?

I've solved the problem now, what I did was set it so I could view hidden folders.
I then went into the Firefox profile folder and deleted the downloads.rdf file, and everything worked fine again. =3
Thanks for trying to help though, I appreciate it a lot :)
