Kingdom Hearts I or II?

Many of you should have played both Kingdom Hearts games (or are still playing). Which is your favorite of the two?

It's hard for me to decide, but I think Kingdom Hearts II is better. There's more action in the game, the drives are cool and there are more worlds and things to do. A minor thing about it is that the worlds are kinda short and the areas are not good connected with each other.

Kingdom Hearts is my favorite. Kingdom Hearts II may have more action, but it was too easy. The first one gave me a challenge. Not to mention, KH has a certain innocence that the second doesn't have. So, Kingdom Hearts FTW!

actually i think KHII had more of the challenge because theres more things to complete while in KH you level to easy because the exp bar depends on the answers you give to wakka selphie and tidus (always choose the first answers) yea anyway its too easy KH i got to lvl 18 on destiny island now that is fast

sora was extra gay in kh2 and some of the movie scenes had soratalking without responses from the other characters and tried to through lame ass humor which wasn't funny for my year old cousin either.plus wtf atlantas was uber gay come on sing a shitty song all day long and at the end all you get is a crappy bliz element key blade.

To me..Kingdom hearts was a challenge...It was fun and the worlds were longer. But Kingdom hearts II had cool characters...sora wasnt as kinky...and the worlds were pretty fun even though they were short. So to me..their kind of both the same.

The first one was indeed a bit more difficult. The drop rate in this game wasn't so high and Sephiroth, the hardest enemy in both games, was much, MUCH more difficult in the first game. The story was also much deeper and more complex in the first one, with the second one adding more characters and just making things more confusing. The gummi system in the first was better. I didn't like the whole "missions" aspect of the second, obtain gummi parts was easier and better in the first and in the second, the gummis they give you can be used throughout virtually the entire game. True, Jimminy's (sp?) notebook is incredibly difficult to complete (I still haven't gotten all the synthesis materials) especially the coliseum tournament objectives, but I still much prefer the first one.

KH1 was better than kh2 because sephiroth was harder to beat and that many of the side quests were harder.

I really enjoyed both of them. KH1 was challenging and deep, KH2 was long, easy and a more action packed.

But I'd have to say KH2, I really preferred the storyline of KH2 better. To me, the storyline for KH1 wasn't really as good, it was too predictable, you care about someone, your friend turns on you, there's really one big bad guy in all of this, which you have to defeat. I never finished the 2nd one yet but so far, I am not 100% on whats going on, I don't even know who the real bad guy is. I really enjoy stories that keep you in suspense and make you wonder what will happen. Thats what really addicts me to a lot of games but it annoys me a lot when they become repetitive.

kingdom hearts 2 is better i think because it is a bit harder i finished kingdom hearts 1 on hard with my people around level 40

Kingdom hearts 2 you get the Drive and you get more worlds still Kingdom hearts the first one was good and kingdom hearts 2 live up to it

Yea, and each world in KH2 have certain episodes and missions to complete, unlike KH1, which doesn't change after visiting the same world again, again, AND AGAIN (except certain worlds)...

Kingdom Hearts. Like Azerty said, Kingdom Hearts was more of a challenge. It also had the more appealing story line to me. Plus the villains didn't seem so.....emo

yea im bak n e wayz i say kingdom hearts 1 all day i say this because it all got complicated in kh:CoM and kh2.pkus nothing beats the first.it was fun and simple it also more chalanging. kh2 is close but kh aall day:D :P

The enemies in KH 2 seemed like crybabies. I liked KH1 better as well. It was more of a challenge. Though KH2 has the expanded side quests, I don't see it making the game more difficult.

Kingdom Hearts 1 was definitely longer than Kingdom hearts 2, but I found that the storyline and characters have much improved in KH2. Also the battle system was much better in KH2. KH 2 was fine with difficulty but I found KH1 to be more challenging. But overall, I'm more fond of KH2 than I am of KH1. However I am missing some of the key music pieces which play in KH1, and really missed those in KH2. The quests were also much better in KH1, but other than that, KH2 all the way xD

i think kingdom hearts 1 is better than kingdom hearts 2 because it was more challenging and it was a longer game.

Both are good games, but KH2 takes the cake. KH2 lacks world development (Same worlds from the first one), and difficulty, but the KH2 seems really fun. Its more action-paced then the first one and it seems more enjoyable.

lol shikaru it was also that he cared more about rikku than kairi which was real funny especially in the second one he finds kairi and ignores her then he's all like oh rikku my love and all that plus kairi looked way better in the second one two and yet sora is still gay and short.

I voted for Kingdom Hearts 2, because this game has a better gameplay and battle engine than part 1. Though part 1 is also pretty cool ;)

well the battle system and game engine is much more powerful and better in kingdom hearts 2 but KH1 is much harder with the platforming and much more challenging. But I still like KH2 better

I personally prefer KH2 over KH1. Overall, the story is far more enjoyable, plus the battles have a much more fluid-like system, compared to KH1's, and the music has a much more. . . "epic" feeling to it than KH1's did. KH1 was good, no doubt, but, after playing 2, I just can't sit down and play 1 anymore, its too slow and bulky. And, despite what others say, I found KH2 harder than KH1- 1 was actually a breeze for me.
