Alright, since there seems to be no sticky for this and it's a commonly asked question I'm making one. :P
-To join a clan, you have to first have 25 posts. This allows you to access both the RPG and the Arcade.
Please don't spam your way upto the 25 post mark, write more than a short one-liner (if you're unsure of the rules, check this thread (http://forums.hellandheavennet.com/announcement.php?f=33&a=1)).
-Then, decide what clan you wish to join. ( It's usually better to aim for a clan that has at least a relatively active leader, the reason for that explained below.) Post in that clan thread and ask the leader if you can join, or PM them.
-You should then receive a PM from the clan leader with details on how to join a clan (clan password and stuff). Enter this into your RPG profile and things should sail from there.
