earth tyrant

i need help fighting the earth tyrant my people are lv22 to 30 and im getting slaughted by it, i think i just need more hi potions i only have 10.
could anyone post ideas?

you shouldnt even be fighting him yet, its too difficult for you, especially at your level.

Yeah, you are supposed to fight him later. Don't know exactly when, but later, when you are stronger.

when i fought him the first time i lowered his health down half way and only used 1 phoinix down and 6 hi potions then he just drilled my people so fast i couldnt recover but that was with golden armour, now i have diamond should i try it now?

my party is about level 25 to 32

If you manage to get the earth tyrant to 20% hp, he will gain a haste effect, well like one. And his attacks will become more frequent, he will just drill through your party members badly

With low hp, his def and atk is increased and at 50% HP he will ignore your evade.

I would recommend you get all characters to level 33-35 and make sure your reserve team has quickenings so you can unleash them, then return your main party.

Yeah you should be waiting to fight him, but it's possible to beat him if you have quick fingers and sharp eyes.

How many quickenings do you have with each character?

Even with quickenings, you are better getting to equal or higher levels for bosses.

Not at low levels, you can 1 shot a boss with a decent quickening.

A good quickening combo can do a lot of damage, but it is not a good idea to rely completely on them. You want to be at least able to hold your own with a boss, and then just unleash the quickenings to finish him before he does any big move.

Also, before you kill the Earth Tyrant, it is a good idea to kill the Mark, who only appears in a sandstorm. Since after the Tyrant is dead, it becomes harder (or at least it did for me) to get a sandstorm to appear.

on sat morning i killed the earth tyrant with my party only being lv29 to 37 and i didnt have to use the quickenings but the last third of his health was a real pain, plus straight after i slain the ring wyrm

Good for you, but, if you take on other bosses (for example the hunt for Gilgamesh) ...be about level 60-70 :P

Yeah, I agree.

Gilgamesh totally wiped me out at my first try, but I came back later and I found out that it was one of the most exciting boss fights in the game.

As for Earth Tyrant...

He was quite a challenge too sometime early in the game and he gave me a good whoopin' since I went there unprepared.
