Quick question, has anyone ever had the same problem I've been having for the past half hour?
If completed FF7 once, the game goes glitchy when starting back before the final battle to do some sidequests. Anyone? Is it curable? :|
Thanks beforehand.
btw, no I don't use any cheats or gameshark shit, the only thing I can think of is maybe that my PS2 is not able to read PS discs as swell as it used to do. It must be said that I have a transformed PS2, it can play copied discs, but that does not contribute to this problem seeing as I beat the game once already on the same machine.
Is your CD pirated? `Cause that can sometimes be a problem.

When you say your ps2 is 'transformed' I'm assuming you mean it's been modded?
Might affect its ability to read discs.
Also, check the game disc and make sure it isn't dirty at that bit :P I've had problems with games glitching at the same point, and it was due to the disc being messy at that one point.
Yeah, dirty discs or ones with scratches can be quite annoying.

Alright, so I'm not the only one who's ever had this problem?
*my explorer goes mental for a second, and I post the same message 2 times, next thing I know I've commited an infraction, ah well, welcome to the forum I'd say*

Edit function lets you delete posts :P
If your disc's dirty, a quick clean should solve the problem. If it's scratched, I think you can buy repair stuff.

I wish I would've known that before I changed the second reply to simply 'crap'. I've been using VBulletin boards for quite some time now and never ever saw that function :embarassed: . Update: the problem is probably fixed, given that the problem occured on disc 3, I am now replaying the entire game to see if it's just my PS2 or the third disc. No problems so for with the first disc! :)

I used to have problems like that for a while. When it started, movie scenes, limits and my personal vave. the elavator that leads to the high wind. The cleaners look and smell funny but can work wonders.
