I'm surprised there hasn't been a thread for this lol.
I haven't played any other Warhammer games but this definitely looks like a decent MMO. It's apparently mostly based on PVP though which is an appealing thing to me. PVE gets boring sometimes and there's a lack of decent PVP in WoW >_< lol. Graphics look pretty good aswell but I dunno about storyline - not that i'm really looking for one in a PVP game xP.

This game DOES look good, i like their idea of PVP it sounds very interesting, and how your character changes as you kill more enemies, like he becomes more vicious, i like that a lot.
This game looks alright, gameplay looks sort-of decent-ish, but the one thing that puts me off is the actual character designing. The game itself looks pretty mind, but the actual design of the characters is a total blow-off. 'ERE COME THEIR ORCCCS WITH THEIR BIG AXXXESSS TO WAGE WARRRRRRR AGAINST DEH TROLLLZZ AND HUMANNNZ!! ... Yeah, it just puts me off lol xD But besides that it looks pretty good =o If its free I might try it, if not, no way. :P

Looks alright, I was into the games on the PS and it was a lot of fun. I'll probably try it out.

Well in WoW they're not so bad. They aren't like the LOTR or Warhammer orcs which are just savages that go crazy and kill everything and just random yell crap. They're a little more sophiscated (I know that's spelt wrong xD) except for some of the mobs and NPC's you meet lol.

Well first of all it's not about how sophisticated they are, it's their design. :P Trolls, orcs, all thesame to me. If I hate the design, I hate the design XD And you can't say there aren't Trolls/Orcs/Whateveryouwannacallem in Warhammer because... they were in the trailers provided on the site lol. So basicly I still stand by my view, I hate the character design they create of those Orcs, enemies or NPC's or playable characters, I still hate it unfortunatly, again its one of the things that completely puts me off from an MMO. FFXI doesn't have any Orcs, they do have trolls but they don't portray them as... well, stupid I suppose, as the ones in WoW, in my opinion. I can't say Warhammer has trolls, but they deffinetly have Orcs though. That's solely a reason enough for me not to play, you would want to impress me well with the gameplay and storyline if you want me to play the game then, you know what I mean? If something puts you off, you need something to compensate that to make up for it.
So yeah, that's just me though :P

Oh well whatever. And i'm not gonna go all "HAI IMA WARHAMMERFANBOI" shit on you because i've never played any of the other games or even played that tabletop ghey, but I have seen them and seen Warhammer 40k which looks like a decent game but i'm too lazy these days.
The only thing I see in it is the fact that it might have some success since it's not starting a new and make up lore or anything, it'd already based off a world that's been around for many years and the fact that I like it's PVP aspect, something I was hoping Blizzard would implement/have in WoW. Of course i'm not getting my hopes up too much xP.

That's more of a personal opinion though but you know what I mean XD

But seriously. I find Orcs pretty interesting xD. Hell when I try Warhammer Online out i'd go for them (or goblins, since I prefer range/caster classes over melee ones and the melee classes are orcs while the range/caster are goblins >_<).
As for for the Warcraft RTS games they're definitely my favourite race to play and in terms of lore too xP. For WoW, yeah I play an orc, I just happen to be playing a different race because i'm too lazy to level again xD.
So basically anything that looks ugly and smelly. IT R BAD YA? kk.

Tsuji, FFXI have Orcs, well not Orcs worse then Orcs, those Yagudo things the desgn of them is far worse then of a Orc. They look like gigantic beetles that cast magic, lol.
Choosing not to like a game over something so little isnt a really good way to rate a game, a game isnt just made up of graphics you know? thats just the show, the core base of the game is what makes it a game. You can have pretty graphics ll you want, but it doesnt mean the game is good. You shouldnt judge a game by the cover, it just makes you look petty like those reviewers.
I can say I wont play any games that use the letter F in their diagloues, because I hate that letter. I mean fair enough you dont want to waste money on it if it's not free, but you basically just said the game is bad cause of its character design? WoW's Orcs look more intelligence and more human then the actual human race, so I dont get how you think WoW Orc's look stupid. I just really do not understand how you can say you wont play a game cause orcs and trolls are stupid but in FFXI, you have to fight giant bugs? what type of intelligence would a bug have? >__>

Not even if Orcs had +10000 to all stats as a passive racial and even had a racial ability that makes you perma invisible and can fly? =O Well okay then. You're just weird ;o But fair nuff I suppose, that's your opinon and everything. Though it really isn't a decent reason not to play/dislike a game =P The main reason you'd ever want to play a game or not is wether or not it's FUN. Then all the other crap comes in along, like features, storyline, gameplay, graphics, etc.

lol I don't really care if they swear or anything. Wether it be a game, show or movie. Or well if anything does in real life either (well sometimes it depends on the situation), but I will care if they're swearing AT me which is a different thing xP.

If I rate a game, I play it first and judge everything on that, gameplay, first impressions, character development etc etc. No, I'm not rating the game, just saying what put's me off of it from my first impression of one of the main concepts I have seen so far, that being Orcs lol XD

XD I can't debate nor argue against anyone when this is based on personal opinion, you know :P In my opinion they look stupid, it's one thing that would put me off from WoW already. But it didn't, I tried it first, and it had some awesome elements in it that SE could CLEARLY take an example of, but isn't lol >.> Who says that I won't try Warhammer Online surely? I know I didn't XD I just think the both of you really misunderstood me... probably because of my english terminology or something, I could be wrong again but, sorry I suppse =X But I never said the game was bad, no. You made it seem that the fact that you didn't like that specific aspect of the game (which IMO isn't a big aspect since you can always choose a different race to play or different side so you won't have allies that are Orcs but even then so what, that's what other people are and it is a MMO) that the game would probably be a little worse than what it would seem like. Or well that it put you a little off playing/liking the game =/

You see, even though they are different concepts, I still dislike the idea behind it.I just don't find it appealing as the type of gamer I am. Maybe that's just part of the game, I can't argue against that, but I just dislike it. But it's not the be-all-end-all decision at all for me to make a final judgement on the game at all, no. =o Some players/gamers like it, like you and Dom, but I don't. Tastes differ, that's it xD

It's not a big aspect, but it takes up a certain amount of space, no denying that.
And yes that's pretty much it, but it won't stop me from trying and playing the game, like I mentioned above. Phew, feels like I'm repeating myself so much here lol XD Let me use FFXI for example, I hate the way how Galka's look, and some Troll like characters as well, I don't like them either, but I still tried it, played it, still playing it, and I'm liking it. But it's FAR from the best game I have played. Far from. Very good MMO but far from the best game I have played. You see what I'm trying to say? :P Maybe Warhammer might get into that category as well that FFXI is in, I don't know XD
Warhammer Online will basically be WoW2 (atleast from what I can say now, still months away from release however so that opinon may change) if you ask me xP. It's trying to do please their players rather than just make money like Blizzard. So they're implementing what PVP players wanted with WoW. However I have a feeling it'll die just like WoW will in the next two or so years (WoW is still in it's prime no doubt).

WTF. I thought you were on my side ; ( I don't really care if the're ugly or not, just if they're cool or if they have something special about them that I want/like (e.g. racial abilities or classes). Also depends if I like their starting area aswell lol.
lol it's funny how I read all those fanboi threads on the WoW forums about how Warhammer will kill WoW and that many players will leave for it. Especially this one guy who couldn't understand the fact that despite the amount of threads of players whining and complaining that the forum community is only a very very very small fraction of the entire WoW database. As well as the fact that many players are still enjoying WoW lol.
I'm guessing Warhammer fans of the other PC games and aswell as those who played that tabletop game or whatever it is (kinda ghey if you ask me, but not trying to diss anyone who does play it xP).
