steam is a program that allows to buy games for the computer and digitally download them legally . the program and web site also allows you two upload your own 3rd party games and offer them for free or charge for people to play(must have a paypal account if you want to charge money).the current game developers on sign are

this wonderful program is constantly updated and there is no disc required the programs free except for the games but there are free demos and some free games on there as well.

Next time try to post the developers in a list so that its better readable.

I'm not gonna do this. I'll rather buy the game in a shop then waiting a couple of hours to download it. And you have a manual with it and all the installation files doesn't take up disk space.

I use steam
but just for HL2 and HL2 related products, like HL: Source and what not
