Upon the RP Heaven forum, it has occurred to me that we don’t have original rules and regulations to go by. With current situations at hand I decided to take it upon myself to create these rules and regulations. With each rule written, you must follow, as well as the regulations. With each one you don’t follow there will be a consequence which will be written below. So read the rules follow them and all will be good. =]
Role-play Heaven Rules & Regulations
In Role-playing, participants either adopt or act out the role of a character. Each character is created with a personality, motivation, background and a description of themselves created by either you or another person in which the creator had created characters for their created RP. There are different ways of Role-playing, and each role-play is created by the creativity and imagination of the creator, such as:
· Based Role-playing- based role-playing is a type of Role-playing which is inspired by something you’ve seen. Like on TV, anime, movies, whatever you can think of and created to be part of that based category, which is also known as Fan Based.
-Fan Based Role-playing is a type of Role-playing that is based off of TV shows, movies, anime series which is created by the creator (you) for the pleasure of those who wish to join in that type of RP.
· Medieval Role-playing- medieval role-playing is role-playing based during past times. These can revolve around past events, back in the ages of King Arthur, or King Henry, or it can revolve around creative events where you can create your own fantasy. This would be the place where your great imagination can reside.
· Modern Role-playing- modern role-playing is role-playing that’s placed on where we are today. These revolve around this era’s situations, but it’s really your choice on how you want to make it.
· Futuristic Role-playing- futuristic role-playing is role-playing based on future terms. These can revolve around things on what you’ll think the future will be like and what could happen. This is also where you can expand your imagination and create interesting new worlds, creatures or just whatever your mind can think of.

In the world of role-playing, there are many rules to follow. Each one is specific and must be followed accordingly. So here are the rules you must follow.
1. No God-modding- God-modding is where somebody takes control of another person’s character without their consent and forcing them to do things the other person might not want.
- God-modding also consolidates with being invincible. A character cannot be immune to everything, meaning it can't avoid dieing. You can't have a unstoppable character, so please don't make one.
If this rule is broken under any circumstances you will get one warning and one warning only. If you do it again, you will be banned from the RP you have disgraced with God-modding and then your posts will be deleted.
2. No Auto-hitting- Auto-hitting is where someone writes a direct hit to someone else, making it a one-way fight. This will not be tolerated; you can’t automatically cause something to happen without giving the other person the opportunity to reply. This is also known as God-modding. You will be asked not to do this, and if you exceed your chances to stop, then you will be removed from the role-play.
3. No Cybering- Cybering is what involves sexual material. I repeat, if there is any material of this content within any RP, you will be sure to receive a nice warning from the mods.
4. No Double Posting- There is no need to double post in a thread. Use the “Edit” button to fix your corrections. If you don’t follow this rule, you will get one chance to change it and then a warning.
5. No Spamming- Spamming is a no in the RP threads. If you have a question or you don’t understand something there will be a thread to ask any questions you want answered. So if you break this rule giving you didn’t read the rules, then you will be getting a warning. If you intentionally spam a thread or create one, then you will get one warning and if you break it a second time, you will be removed from the RP section. Spamming is not tolerated.
6. Grammar & Spelling- Grammar and spelling are always a priority when writing in an RP. You have to be sure that other readers are able to understand you when you’re making a post. So always read back what you’ve written to be sure it’s legible for the readers, and to check over your spelling.
- With each reply to a thread, there is a requirement of at least 2 paragraphs to a post. One-liners aren’t tolerated; it doesn’t give others an idea of what your character’s doing. So be descriptive.
7. OOC & IC- OOC means out of character. You can speak out of character by using “( )” as a way to speak away from character. IC means in character. Each time you speak out of character, be sure you put “IC:” to let others know you’re back into character.
8. Posting Out of Turn- Do not post out of turn. Be patient, you don’t need to post after every person’s post to be part of the role-play. Others may think this is annoying for those who want a chance to try and post.
- Which falls into the line of, Chain Posting- Chain posting is when two people converse with one another constantly, not giving others the chance to join and post. This is not necessary; you don’t need to continuously keep posting with the same person as though others aren’t/won’t join. With the exception if there are only two people in a role-play, then that is okay, other than that, you can’t keep posting with one person if there are more than two who are participating.
If you are caught two-waying, you and your partner will get a warning. The second time you are warned, you will be cut from posting in that thread for a day. The third time you are warned, you will be stricken from the thread you were two-waying until three days after. This will happen every time you are warned a fourth time and so on. So please keep on task.
9. No Meta-gaming- This is where you bring personal feelings into the role-play, allowing hostilities with someone to affect your character. With this you fail at role-playing and at life. So keep your personal life to yourself and stick to role-playing.
10. Constant Role-playing- This’ll be the last rule. This here is telling you that if you join a role-play or create one, try to stay active. It is important that you do so to keep the place alive. It will be greatly appreciated. If you have to be absent for a while, make a note in the OOC thread of the role-play you happen to be in so that others know instead of sitting there watching the role-play die.
