Maybe you know that problem (actually propably not XD).
You're looking for a title for whatever you do (a story, a poem...) but you think that english is way too boring this time, so you want a japanease title. So you're tiping a randome title into a translater and make it translate that title into japanease. And what do you spot? A couple of really similar-shaped boxes. While you're propably a little bit confused, you try it again. And again. And again. Til you get so pissed, that you try to hit your screen with one of your speakers (I'm a pretty aggressive chick, belive it or not XD).
---------------------------------------------------------------------

So here's my question: Is there a program to download, that can show the actual JAPANEASE WORDS? I'd be great if I could see WORDS for once, not only strange boxes that return into the english language when you translate it once again.

I'd be happy (and less pissed and freaked out^^) if someone could help me^_____________________^

You're seeing the boxes because your computer, being English-based, doesn't recognise the Japanese writing. To be able to see the words you should download a Japanese Language pack, just do a search for google and you should be able to find it no problem :)

Thank you-su! I can finally see the signs, but...I actually needed to know, how to show the japanease words, not the signs. Here's an example:
I want to translate Goodbye into "Sayonara" and not into "さよなら".
Wait....Is there a program to make this happen anyway? XD

Not that I can think of, you might just have to romanize it youself.
I'm not sure if you can - I haven't downloaded it and played around with it yet myself, but JWPce might help;

It's a free download japanese word processor, might be worth having a look into.

You'd be a lot better off just learning all the Hiragana yourself. You'll get a lot more out of it, and it will help you more in the long run. I started learning japanese quite a while ago, and now turning Hiragana into romanji is second nature to me.

It is actually a lot easier than I thought it would be.

Now, Kanji is a whole different story.

Yeah, you're right, I'm trying to learn Hiragana since some weeks myself^^
Well, thanks to everyone that helped me :)
