I want to know if more members having problems with accessing the website and forums. So please if you run into an error or a slow website, please post it here.
If more members are having trouble with them, I might move to a better host, since I'm getting kinda pissed at my recent host Servage for the bad support they have.
Thank you.

Speed wise the forums are find for me, even on my epic university connection. Only problems I seem to have are very occasionally I get database errors (or something like that) and the entire forums won't work - usually sorts itself out after a while though :x

Yeah, that's happens almost every day now. The forum software can't connect to the MySQL server and then it returns a database error. Usually it takes the server 1 or 2 minutes to fix itself. Sometimes I'm getting a lot of emails with those database errors.
All I can say is ditto to the last few posts :(

I had to fix another table of the database, because it was crashed. Because of that people couldn't register... >.<
I never had this kind of problems on my old hosts, only when something bad happened.

Well, what is now happening to my other forum (South Park Fan Forum) has done it. South Park Fan Forum has been down for already 3 hours, because of the crap database server that is having trouble. And this on the day I wanted to put my new style for that forum online.
And where's Servage's support when you need them? Must be because its Sunday...:upset:
I'm going to move to another host for sure, but I'm not sure which one. If someone has suggestions, please post them here. What I need is enough space and bandwidth and also one that allow multiple sites to be hosted.

The website goes a bit slow for me, sometimes more so than other times, but I think it's because I'm so far from the server location.
As for a new server, I'd recommend www.site5.com
They have tons of bandwidth and space, and offer a lot of useful features (SSH, SiteAdmin, etc.).
Avoid domain.com hosting though, and Chaosnetworks.net. I've nothing but trouble with both of them in trying to host a personal portfolio for my work for school and a resume. >.<;

I don't think I'll move to Site5, since they are overselling like Servage.
I think I'll go for a Dutch host, like I had before I moved to Servage. I still have to find out which one.

Hey Zidane, well to tell you the truth, site is running pretty damn well. Speed has been consistent and loading time is good.
Great place you have built yourself here. Hope to see you at my site some time soon ;). Well, you most likely will be there, lets just say that.

Thank you. :)
It runs alright now indeed, but when I want to do something it doesn't run that smoothly. Database errors and ftp access errors.
Like last week when I was having a flu, the databases crashed of both forums... >.<
Uh dude, for some reason the speed between here and your site became slower than usual. Is your host having some technical internet difficulties?

I've found a new host. A Dutch one again, since I trust them more. I'll announce soon when everything will be moved.

Servage's database servers are just crap. Especially when you installed a CMS (like Drupal). Glad to be rid of them in a couple of days.
