I own the version on PSX and, strangely enough, tried to play it last night. It didn't work, but I'll try again later.

As for the game itself, it has its ups and its downs, but it IS the oldest FF out there. Overall, its a decent game, but I prefer some of the older installments.

I also have the PlayStation version (Final Fantasy Origins) of the game. I wanted to add it to my collection last year, so I've searched stores and I've found it.

I've only played it short and I like it, only dunno when I'm gonna start with the game. But its better than the NES version, that's for sure. :)

yea, I don't really follow the story at many point of the game but I do understand what its al about and whats going on, my FF collection is almost complete also. I have them all except XII and VI, If you do want to start FFI and really get the most out f it, I think for one of those old FF's the battle system and story is actually done really well and its no wander that the FF series is so big now.

In my opinion, the story in FFI is really left. . . well, completely basic, but, for a game that was on the NES, it was pretty well done. As for the combat system, I've seen better, but I've seen much worse, too. So, its age considered, its a steady installment, even now.

For some reason i am addicted to FFI, I don't know why...I just found it in a pile of gmes in a garage sell one day (GBA Version) and now im playing it for around 2 hours a day...Any Way, does anyone else like this game

I bought it at EB games about a year ago. It is pretty much amazing and I play it all the time. I find it addicting because it's like simple yet challenging but not too hard.
