Getting back on ff11, on xbox360

Hey guys, as many of u know, i used to be addicted to ff11, its been lil over 6 months since i quit and gave mofantasy char away.

Now im buying an xbox360 for ff11, i'l be making a new char, starting over as newbie! So im considering servers, i could go back to asura to my dutch friends, but then again, i have some "Not-so-friendly" ppl there who wouldnt want me back lol. 2nd option is back to carby where i last was and made some rly cool friends.
Last option is start over on a whole new server. But for that id like to know how the servers are on a social level and EU based players. Carby and asura are mainly JP/NA populated. So are there any EU servers, fenrir seems to be all about Ballista and pvp. Im more into events and missions, so if ur on a cool EU server, plz post name, population lvl (www.ffxiah.com) and ur name.

Why are you buying a Xbox 360 for the game while its better to just buy a new game? Personally I don't think I'll like playing a MMORPG on a console, since you need a keyboard too if you want to chat with others.

I agree the pc version is better but the 360 runs onlive chat with its own cutom headphones and microphones, but I think the 360 is the best game system for shooters and hack and slash not huge MMOs...that's why I want FFXI for the pc...even though i probably won't get it cause I already play WoW

I was just thinking that also. I haven't played ff11 for a couple years now but I just wanted to know if everything was still the same..I mean are there new users mostly everyday or has it slowed down? are people friendly and helpful?
should I still be able to recover my old account from couple years ago or would it be long gone? lol
