Sitting in my room finishing up the great book of amber i sat there really bored........so I thought to myself to start this RPG...even if it is good or bad I hope some people will try to join it.

Story so Far....

The Lost Realm is pen name to the legendary land Arios, A continent full of different cities ranging from the frozen north where humans found a way of living from the surplus of fish for trade to the southern cities which hold the largest guilds from the infamous Thieves guild to the Mages Guild holding unspeakable power of the ancient wizards and sorcerers. Or maybe even the great forest which house the long living elves and the mines beneath this world which is home to the many Dwarves. Cities from every race and culture fill this land from those populated by riches of gold to the port cities of the vast ocean of trade. You are no more then a small part of this open world traveling. As you started of in your home and then left to find adventure. Or maybe even adopted by the wizards to learn the great arcane or a dwarf who decided to leave their mines and travel to the world of elves and humans and its creatures. Or maybe an elf who wanted to escape the woods to live among the short lived humans. But all of you have the same wanting need of Adventure to travel this world helping its inhabitants or raiding their homes for loot. All you have to do is choose your path.......


Cities-

Frozen Dale- This new colony of humans has been quickly growing learning to live through the long winters and grow a family. This colony began to live and prosper from the surplus of Fish found in its cold waters during the summer months bringing in Enough money to live. But even though the people sometimes fight over land rights to the lake of where some should fish....Many adventurers found this place a wonderful place to explore, for it is filled with creatures and game to earn a profit and some might even want to help the council of the dale settle its arguments in their own ways......

Port Near- A small port city full of thugs and bars. Criminals meat here in the pubs and some bounty hunters can become very wealthy from their hunting in this city. Guard is very low and so fights between different gangs occur here often.....Other then getting drunk at a pub here people can find good deals to travel on the passing ships to the south and a bit farther north

Elmar (Elle-Mar)- The largest port city in all of the realm, This large city is full of those of the higher class to those of the lowly thugs like those in Near. Many people pass through this city daily, Always there is an Execution to be seen going on and business is always burning even through some of the Lords of the town. Many adventurers can find allot to do. From large shops to getting a cleaner ship to travel and even getting a few jobs from the people of this wonderful city. Decorated in many ways and always changing.

Calimshan- The southern heaven as it is called.....Even larger then Elmar this city holds home to the guilds of the Realm. Many things can be found here. Information about almost anything and maybe anyone and those depressed can find their share of pubs to gamble and pleasure themselves....But at the same time people are always on a sharp watch from the passing thieves of the city. Much more the adventure can be found here....All you need to know is where to find it and what to do when you do....

The dwarven cities are away from the ocean and as we well know under ground and hardly bothered with by Humans and Elves....Only one is known of an it is called The Silver Hall. Located underground East of Port Near.

Major Forest-

Ashwood- Home of the mythical elves this is where you might begin if you are of elvish blood. The wood seams to almost be alive with the magic of the long living elves. Always moving and full of sound. It is also home of some of the realm's more vicious creatures. Explorers and Adventurers are always exploring this place for it is full of ancient treasure and stories of some of the realm's more heroic characters. Weapons and armors of lore can be found here if you are resourceful and know where to look and entering the realm of the elves can also be allot more then just a wonderful experience it can also be a dangerous and incredible one....

Ruins-

There are only two known ruins in the realm that have been found and studied, Both of which have no name but hold more secrets the the forest of Ashwood itself.....When you have the time and courage to come and study these demon infested hells maybe more then just riches could be found.....Both are located around the Frozen wasteland (A bit south)

Enemies-

Pirates-When on a sea voyage it does not always allow you time to rest, Pirates are always on the look out of ships to raid and capture....Makes you wander what they have.....

Banshee-Only one is know to exist (or has been found) and she can be found in the lesser forest of the Moon....But beware..Its shriek has the power to kill so be prepared for anything while in the forest

Goblins-Like you don't already know.....

Orcs-Maybe a bit alike to the goblins the orcs are much larger and stronger then the goblins and can usually be found in the mountains in the east living by the path to the city of Elm...A city that holds the great library of knowledge and home to the great elders.

Giants-Big, Strong, Dumb, and live in caves around the Realm....Sometimes on a rare occasion might befriend a large goblin tribe.

Nightmares- Black creatures like wolves but larger and have the smell of Death, those who meat one can not escape but killing it or dieing and making it stronger, found in forests like Ashwood and the Moon Forest.

Dragon- The fiercest of all creatures, they are large wise and love their treasure. They leave in caves around the great mountains of the east on with their large hoards of gold and treasure....Although some can be found in places underground like under the ice of the northern wasteland.

Assassins- Some people might not always like you.....

Remember you might also find and discover new creatures on your quest..

Character Races-

Elves
Dwarf
Human
Half Elf
Half Orc

Each race can specialize in any weaponry but the Half Orc is excluded from magic unless raised by their human parent. Elves though have a much superior rate of agility and finece in weaponry they prefare magic other then weaponry and the dwarves and excellent fighters. Humans can study either or both and the Half Elf tends to be the same.

IF YOU ENTER A FIGHT WITH ANOTHER PLAYER THE VICTOR WOULD PROBABLY BE THAT WITH GREAT SKILL UNLESS SOMETHING HAS BEEN DECIDED BY THE TWO PLAYERS...A PLAYER WILL NOT LAND A HIT BUT MUST WAIT FOR THE OTHER PLAYER TO CONFIRM THE HIT...REMEMBER TO NOT MAKE YOUR SELF SEEM INVINCIBLE!!!!

Description-

Standing roughly at a height of 5'6 (modest for an elven female, and she is still growing), Eliesha has a slender build, appearing almost small as far as physical stature goes. She is slim, not overly large but not death thin either. Her hair, which is a light brown, almost a brown-blonde mixture in places, reaches well past her hips, and is a mass of straight, almost silk-like strings. Due to the length of her hair, and the fact that it covers her ears, her pointed ears, which slant backwards and point to the ground rather than the sky, are effectively hidden, which would hide her heritage if not for her beauty. Her eyes, which are both clear pristine, are blue-violet color and are capable of seeing things far off.

The elf's attire is most certainly something of elven origin in that it consists primarily of robes, but, at the same time, is fully functional for combat without getting in the way. The under clothes extend to her ankles- questionably past them, but that is uncertain- and hang from the elf's slender shoulders by straps that are hidden by her first real robe. The over robes are a light blue color of silk-like material and reflect light shown upon it. At about the waist, her robes are tied to her body by means of a long strip of cloth- roughly six inches wide and about four feet long- that has many elven runes and magical symbols on it for means of protection. The other noticeable feature of her clothing is that the trim of her robes have the same runes and symbols as the belt-like cloth at her waist does.

Weapons- One-handed elven blade which is three feet in length (lighter due to being of elven origin); overall elemental magic (prefers fire, wind, and ice)

History- To keep things short, Eliesha left her household on a trip of revelations, to gain knowledge of the world she lived in and of the people that lived in this world. She has seen many things in her time, some magical other carnal and evil, but, frankly, she does not regret her path chosen up to this point. She is fairly knowledgeable in the myths of lost civilazations, but is nowhere near as wise in these matters as she wishes.

Description- Demetar, A young spell sword roughly 6’ in height coming from the royal city of Ashwood. He has a light yet strong build, His eyes seem to stare at everyone at all times and his face is as handsome as any elf. Long brown hair drapes over his eyes slightly curled revealing to some with his smile his optimistic personality. Yet unlike some elves he has a raging temper but only once or twice will many ever see him this way. His clan’s forest green mythral tunic is always worn during his explorations of the world and with that he wears the tree bark brown leggings which his mom wove for him for his 50th birthday. His signature black hooded cape is now worn from age yet he is almost always seen wearing it for its protection from the cold during the winter. His boots are as well worn from years of use but for they were elven woven they did not ever tear. But his clothes aside the truly magnificent thing about Demetar is his swords. Demetar's one-handed long sword was made for his clan by the dwarves of silver hall and like the mines it shines silver at all times. His other sword which also belonged to his father has some magic to it too. It is the same length as the dwarven made grayswinder but is black like obsidian. No one knows why it is that color but it is his heirloom and like grayswinder Demetar protects his sword with his life!
Weapons- Grayswinder and the Black Blade (one-handed long swords) both are roughly 4 feet in length
Weapon Skill- 4/5 his duel blade art takes time to learn, Magic-3/5 only a few spells in his arsenal but like all elves he is gifted in the art of magic

History- Many people who have met Demetar all got to hear a part of his history and it is just as well that you do to. Demetar was born 130 years ago on the 10th day of March on the Human calendar. Ever since he always had a love of learning new things. Only at the age of 15 Demetar already began to learn from his father the art of elven weapon-smithing. But even that did not calm his unyielding thirst to learn even more! At the age of 30 Demetar began to learn the art of magic from Clan Dezenvour's tutor. He never liked the art but excelled in it any way learning some of the useful basic spells like levitation and invisibility. But in all his lessons all he wanted to do was learn how to fight with the blade. At age 50 he got his wish. His father Elron, the weapon master of the clan, finally allowed Demetar to come and study with him. Weapon study usually took somewhere between 40 to 50 years of intense training and condition to make the mind and body move as one and create the perfect warrior. Many elves failed in this training but those who completed it where usually given the rank of Weapon master after the current one passed away. And so Demetar always tried harder and harder at his training. Choosing to wield to weapons his father gave him to light long swords to train with. The second he picked them up his father attacked him. Both father and son fought for a few minutes till Demetar emerged victorious. Instead of being angry, like some his father told him to follow. This was around his 100th birthday and the end of his training. Elron led Demetar to the clan's weapons hall where his father gave him to things. His own Black Blade and the clan's Grayswinder. A few years later Demetar still wanted to do more. He wanted to explore and learn more of this amazing world. at age 110 though disaster struck. It seemed like hell itself attacked the house during the night. His mother, already weak from illness passed away during the night.....Elron too depressed for the following years had attempts at suicide stopped by Demetar. But finally ten years after his mother's death his father died too. Demetar now lost in his large clan home felt alone even with his friends right next door. he finally decided to take his chances and leave the forest. Now ten years have passed and Demetar only feels like he started his quest. There is so much to learn....All he needs to know is where to begin!
