Sorry but I'm intriguied by this, because personally my last name is crap. I'd like to know what everyone else's is. This was inspired by the "Why did you choose your name post?" and the mystery of the Brindley.

There's a place in Newcastle named after my family! I have to point it out EVERY time I go there... its in a MOSAIC on the floor... the word WALTONS... haha... woo!

Unfortunately there is a trade embargo on surnames in the EU at the moment. If you try to sell your surname you could face up to a £2 fine. This is due to the rapid growth in the surname sector in China.

In short, don't sell your surname, it's a silly idea.

Mines Rosati. It's kind of fun to hear people try to pronouce (something tells me i'm spelling that wrong) it. When my mom and dad we together he had his own buisness, so people would call and say,"hi is gus rosati there" and most of the time I'd have to correct them on the last name XD was quite funny.

My aunts adopted daughter originally had 5 names that her birth mother gave to her. (And it's a tongue-twister! :P ) But because my aunt and uncle didn't really like them, they added two more names to it. So now the little girl has 7 names. o.o I suppose it would be good when she grows up though; she can pick and choose what names she wants to keep and be known by.

My mother was married several times. The first time she had my eldest half brother and sister. Then she divorced and married my other half brother's father had him then divorced him. She was with someone else and had me and no one knows for sure who my father is. Also all my possible fathers died so I probably will never know my actual last name.;( I and all my siblings were given the same last name Voyles which I beleive is either german or Russian. We all have the same intials j l v and we all are half siblings except for the eldest two. My mother loves j names and I don't live any where neer her thankfully.
