Short Circuit

I loved this movie as a kid. It's about a robot called Johhny 5 that is struck by lightning and comes alive. The military guys who built him and his robot brothers want Johhny 5 back, but he refuses to go home. The scenes where he reads books in seconds is funny. But I didn't think much of the sequel where Johhny 5 was befriended then betrayed by this person called Oscar. It only featured Benjamin from the first film which was a pity. The song by Will Jennings at the end is so cool.

I remember this movie, like u I loved it as a kid. Johnny 5 was the coolest robot before I discoverd jap mechs.

Oh man, I love this movie so freakin' much! I love the sequel too. Dammit, it's freakin' awesome. It used to be my favorite movie until Constantine came out.

Yep, loved it a lot. If I see it on the tele, I'll stop and watch it anytime. Both movies were good, especially the second one when he becomes gold and a citizen.
