Well since we are starting from scratch again, Why not bring back the classics like "Favorite Movie".. Post down you favorite movie can be comedy, horror, romance, ect.

Probably the Shawshank Redemption, but I always find it difficult to pick one out of so many good ones!

The Last Samurai is my alltime favourite. It was the bestest. :D It's still the only movie that can make me cry everytime (yes, go ahead and laugh :P). xD

I love Disney films, Lion King, Mula, Beauty and the Beast, all that kinda stuff, I think my obesseive love of Kingdom Hearts probably really doesn't help with it either. I also love The Last Samurai (I cry at the end of that too) and Battle Royale (even though there are some parts I still can't bring myself to watch. I'm a wimp)

There are alot. Well, you know, a fair bit anyway. Dodgeball, The Last Samurai, LOTR and some others I forget. That and there are movies I wanna watch which I haven't yet and apparently meant to be good, xP.
Maybe Gladiator, South Park, Finding Nemo(?), Gangs of New York and Black Hawk Down, but they are more so a catergory under Favourites.

Casshern was a missed opportunity. Not having read the manga, I just saw the film and thought "this could be so much better". It has, for my taste at least, far too few action scenes and far too much emotive thoughtful narrative. *rolls eyes* the premise was good, but I felt really let down by the film in the end. :(

The Matrix seems naff once you watch the movie Ghost In The Shell. Especially since Trinity is a blatant rip off of the main protagonist in Ghost in the Shell.

But I do agree House of Flying Daggers was great and so was Kung Fu Hustle but Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon left me cold and rather bored to be honest....

Basically, I like comedy, martial arts, good romance (not sappy crap) and I am a huge anime junkie. I'm so addicted that I will sit through crap just so I'm watching anime lol (like the loathable Yu-Gi-Oh lol)

Oh and I can't remember the blokes name but I love the work of the guy who created Spirited Away. He is king. I cried for two hours solid watching Grave of the Fireflies and it's only 88 minutes long. It was that sad :'(

Basically I love movies with quirky, realistic characters in unreal situations! (Well accept the bombing of Japan did happen...)

I usually forget what my favorites and don't remember what my actual favorite is after 20 minutes have passed.So I'll just say the movie on the top of my head.

The first Back To The Future was great.It's just a great movie that is worth watching alteast a dozen times to catch all the little details that will greatly amuse you at the end.Know what I'm saying?

Now there is probably some other movie that I forgot to mention and I think that it's probably The Bourne Identity.It was a good action movie and very very cool.

There were a lot of good movies mentioned in here (LOTR, Scarface, Hannibal, Donnie Darko, Saving Private Ryan, etc.), but it's hard for me to decide on my favorite film. All of these films below are perfect candidates, though.

Well I have a few actually.. I can list them and give a small motivation why I like them:)

RENT The musical (The new filmrelease) - I love the music in this movie.. I'm very much into musicals myself.. I love musicals and this one is one of the best ones I've seen. The story is NOT unique or ANYTHING special at all.. It's just that watching this movie (and listening to the music) brings me such a feeling of harmony.. I just love it^^

Taeguki (A.K.A Brotherhodd of War) - Korean anti-war movie that really struck my heart.. a must see for pretty much everyone! If you're into war movies this one you'll probably like.. If you're not into war movies you'll probably like it anyways since it's a very emotional movie.. Must see!^^
