Arent there more medevil type ff's like this?

I thought it was awesome...I guess not everyone does...but 12 seems to be doin something like this so thats good.

Yes actually, I noticed that as well...but one thing I loved from this, is that it was not all too medieval, it had its pure own touch to it =p It wasnt all like "OHHH ORCS WITH AXES ARE COMING WITH THEIR ARMY!" sorta business (Yes, and I dont like that :P), so yeah this was a damn good FF, they should do this a wee bit more =P

Probably wont happen for sometime...*sigh* FF's always had their own style mixed with another. Like this one as you said, medevil with FFishness.

I think the medevil setting was good but I think that what they try to do is mix things because if its medevil than everyting else will be too but the other settings like FFX was mixture of futureristic and antiant times because of the temples. But anyway FXII will around the same thing.

FF1-FF6 tend to have a medievil setting, since FFIX originated from them.
With all the references and all.

Yep, like DarkLink21 said, Final Fantasy IX was based around the classic Final Fantasy games. Too bad people don't really understand how good this game is.

the game is good and i liked the medievil type of setting in the game it worked very well.

i agree the madievil style worked very wll in the game but as w know not all games would be good if they all had the medievil style in thm so making some games different is a good thing

the characters totally fitted in to the midievil theme like vivi the black mage and zidane the thief.

i miss the origional FF medieval feel :-( , hopefully they will do another back to its roots type FF sometime, i can only hope

ff12 looks pretty medievil and modern together with the wars and the big towns i like medievil ffs :) they really should make more.

It's probably because of that medieval feel that makes ffIX my favourite. My favourite before that was FFV and thats a medieval one as well

I love the medieval theme.

I personally think IX has the best music.

I mean the menu music is friggin amazing, I'm gonna cover it one day.
