Dynasty Warriors

Who doesnt like a nice hack and slash game ya? Anyways what are your opinions over the king of hack and slash?

I play the Dynasty Warriors games all the time when I'm with my friends. We'll play co-op, against each other in duels and what not. I love the gameplay and I love using the little special moves (not the musu or whatever). I jump in the air and press "Y" (Xbox version), and fall down and destroy my enemies surrounding me. :p

It's awesome. :)

Yup nothing better than a good hack and slash.

But there's this new game coming out called devil kings...it acutally seems alot better than DW but until I play it, its still up for questioning.

Try part 5, its not as difficult once u get the items but at least it has chaos mode.

^--- Basicly what I think, but it sorta grew old on me =P DW3 was a great game but DW4 failed to impress me IMO =P Its just thesame, with some new looks and missions, and just a few new characters, same stuff over again though =\ Still, Gan Ning was really my kind of character *nods* His Musou killed anything, even the dreaded Lu Bu =P
Samurai Warriors though, now that was nice, I loved that game XD (Same makers as DW) I found that much more addicting than DW4 =P DW3 was just as addicting as SW though, DW fans might wanna check it out sometime :p
Also, Devil Kings looks pretty amazing so far, I might get that =P

Samurai Warriors is the best of the games I think. Though KOEI fixed Dynasty Warriors with DW5, making it more like Samurai Warriors and what not. They fixed the pesky map problem, but got rid of some fun features like the challenge modes as well as the duels. Also has anyone heard about Dynasty Warriors 5 Special for the X-Box 360? I read something small on it at ign.com
