Beside the new samurai anime who likes the wandering samurai Kenshin Himura? My bud owns epds 1-63 on his comp, luckly he lent them to me and its a great series, I forgot how good they were.

hm I was never too keen on the actual kids series, but the trust and betray and reflections series is absolutly awesome

Yeah the movies are crazy serious. But Im guessing you saw it on Cartoon Network, its a different story if you dont see it there, alot of blood...ALOT. Just need to get past the funny ha ha beginning and into the series where Shisho is in.

RK is a nice little anime, I'd also have to say that the OVA's are my personal preference though. :P Reflections was very sad. ;_; Trust & Betrayal were awesome.
Though I have to admit, I liked the light-heartedness in the series. :D

Ruroni Keshin used to be one of my favoite anime seires too bad i had to see it on cartoon network so i didnt get to see the blood. :(

Yea I agree the Samurai X OVAs were the best of the series. Rurouni Kenshin was like the same, but with comedy in it. I really like the artwork of Samurai X, its very nice.

Nah, they both were great!
I loved RK because it had that comedy quality that makes anime so enjoyable.
I loved SX because it was darker and more serious and I love a good thriller.

I love everything about kenshin, giving up killing to act like a goof yet still protect the ones he loves, how kewl is that. ^_^

Taco man?!?! How in hell did you get that nickname, Nataku? Sounds like an embarrasing memory. :D
But yeah, I like Samurai X a lot more than Rurouni Kenshin because in Rurouni Kenshin, he's a lit'l foppish, if you know what I mean. He's not the brutal serial-killer that he is in Samurai-X.

I saw Reflections.It felt like a really streched episode.

I love RK.I think it was the first anime I saw.Yeah Toonami,4th Grade.Ahh the good days when Toonami used to come on at five with DBZ,Yu Yu Hakusho,Gundam,and RK.Ahh good days.

I just love RK but I spotted the flaw.It's always someone trying to kill Kenshin for something.

Having seen samurai X, I really didn't like what happened to the character in RK. It'd be like watching Hellsing 2 to find out that Alucard had become goofy

I discovered something about Ruroni Kenshin....the character Gein is based on a real life Necrophiliac called Ed Gein.

(From Wikipedia.com)
The manga named Rurouni Kenshin (during the Revenge arc), features a character named "Gein", a dollmaker who digs up corpses and turns them into human-like dolls, and to construct armour that he wore to spy and fight.

Yay! People have actually seen Samurai X movies!XD Now I can talk about it!

Well, I'm more into the manga than the anime, but it still is my favorite anime of all time. I'm just really mad that I can never find the volume 20 where it shows Kenshin's past, but I have the two that go before and after it. Did anyone else think Shishio looked awesome in the manga before he was burned and got an arrow shot through his head?

EDIT: I also learned alot of history from this show also. ^^
