Moving domain

I've heard that some users are getting a page with a logo containing PCextreme. Don't worry, it isn't your computer. :P
Yesterday I've ordered my current hosting company PCextreme to move my domain from the old company to this one. This is because it expires in one month, and I don't want that to happen.

So if you see the page with the logo of PCextreme, just try again later.

The move has been completed yes. There were double DNS inserts causing that some users saw a page with the PCextreme logo. Thanks to PCextreme (http://www.pcextreme.nl) for fixing it.

yes that was kind of ironic, as i was getting email alerts yet no matter what i did i couldnt see what they were reffering to :-p

I'm glad to hear that nothing drastic was going to become of it. When I saw the page the other day, I thought the board was gone again and I knew it wasn't that old either. Anyway, somebody at vBulletin told me you can re-use their forum files again if you move hosts but somebody else told me you couldn't and that you got one set per payment. So who's right in saying such a thing as it only served to confuse me?

well throughout your time with vb, you fill out a url where the script is used, and change it as it changes. the only thing is that url in their db must be the one and only place where the forums are whenever it is verified
