My nick name is Sage. Most people tell me that sounds like a Girls name but I've had it for so long that I just think of it as me. It all started when my bestes friend in the whole wide world, Amanda, Decided to write a book. It was TOTALY fantasy RPG but she wasnted to loosely relate it to real life so she desided to make a character after me, with my personality Etc. (And I ended up being one of the cooler characters who summons big scary monsters to beat the shit out of people. loll). Anyway, I was harping on what kind of name he should have, because she let me decide, when I remembered a very important moment in my life (Perhaps the REAL moment that sage was born) The first time I ever played Final Fantasy VII. I could not decided what to name Cloud and I hate leaving original names, I had just finished Playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocorina of Time, and I remembered my Favorite characters, the 7 Sages. So I named Cloud Sage, at first it did sound weird, but some how or another, playing the game for literally hours on end, I got used to it and started to like it.

Upon remembering this I decided to name my character in her book Sage. And about a last name? I didn't know what to do. So I thought about sage and I remembered that Sage is a very abundant plant in the desert that I live in, and I put two and two together (The two being Plant + Desert) And so Spawned "Brush Fire" So my full nick name( or pseudoname) is Sage Brush Fire.
I've used Sage Brush Fire for everything ever since, some people Even go about calling me Sage, I much prefer it. I sign my art as SBF and I sign my letters Sage Brush Fire. It's more than a nickname for me, it's an entire other personality of power and courage.
