The Lord of the Rings movies are one of my fav. movies, although I haven't seen all three. I've seen the first movie (The Fellowship of the Ring) on TV and I really liked that one. Just a week ago I've bought the Trilogy containing all the 3 movies over 6 DVDs and today I've started watching The Two Towers and it's really freaking nice.
It's cool that Gandalf is back!

I prefered reading them as books then watching them as movies. The movies were too long and I found myself bored to the point where I turned it off and went and watched something else. Only reason I saw them as a movie is because I was forced to watch all 3 in english class in grade 8 XD I also like The Hobbit.

Same here, TMS. I liked the books a lot more. The first movie was great, the second movie was cool, and the last movie was sub par, in my opinion anyway. I didn't like how some events were switching around in the movie compared to the sequence in the books.

Aragorn was the coolest character in the series! :D

Well I haven't read the books, well I read a few sentences somewhere in the middle (my cousin has one of those books which has all three put togther. He finished it a few years ago and it took him like around a year to finish, rofl. Cause sometimes he only reads a bit each night or doesn't at all.) and well I WAS going to read the books after I saw the movies, but I couldn't be bothered. The movies are pretty good. Like you don't alot of "fantasy" movies, maybe cartoons, but it's not the same thing. The graphics and special effects looked cool, though they aren't everything, but it gives the movie a better feel to it. The storyline was interesting in some sense, sometimes it got boring though, but "mostly" it was interesting =/ But maybe if I read the books first and then watched the movie, i'd probably have a slightly different view. Yeah, Aragon is a pretty awesome character. Gimili's rather funny too though in WoW, like it's so stupid how some people name their Dwarven characters Gimili, like... wow that's original, NOT.

I HATE LOTR. OMFG GEEZUZ I HATED THAT MOVIE. Holy sh!t :P XD
1) Terrible acting. Frodo only had like, three emotions in my eyes. :), :( and :O. XD Possibly worst actor I came across in my eyes =P Golum was the only price winning star of the movie if you ask me. The rest weren't that amazing =\

2) Plotholes. Wow I found a few of these a few years ago. Cant remember half of them though. Though I remember one. About this sort of ball which had that flaming eye of Sauron in it or something. Yeah. Where oh where I ask thee did that ball come from? Seemed to me it was just THERE. Whoopsie-doopsie it fell outta the magical tower of EVILLLLL. Blegh, I hate LOTR. @_@

3) Story is really in my preference not my type. Its a bit too simple, not my kind of thing really. o-o It just adds to my hatred to LOTR =P

So yes, I dont like LOTR =D
