Well the dragon ball series to me are the mother of anime it basically inspired the new anime that have come out. For example Dragon Ball started with "The Tournament" which was a great idea. It also inspired for the so called "Beams" also knows as "light attacks". And the story lines especially for Dragon Ball Z were the BEST!!

And then came GT.....only thing good was SSJ4...yet for some reason kid goku was stronger than SSJ4 goku!!!!

Used to be crazy about this stuff. I used to get the toys...yet...I don't have them anymore. Used to draw the characters most of the time.

Good times...the anime is really old though. It ran around the time of Transformers, the original.

i used to like it so mouch but then it got annoying and repetitive like pokemon and was worked way more then it was worth. but again i say the games are friggin awsome.

his strength was just suppose to be toned down...apparently it powered him up instead :O

I also used to watch DragonBall Z a couple of years back. It was really a hype here when it was on Cartoon Network. But everytime CN keep repeating saga's over and over. Luckely I've seen the whole DragonBall Z series and DragonBall GT. I've never seen DragonBall actually.
I still have to see the movies too.

I also used to watch it when I was a child and I used to like it.
But then, I never liked it, it was so childish to me. Repetitive,
one dies and gets resurrected, then it'll happen again. It's also
exaggerated(or whatever it is), the beams are enormous, it can almost destroy
the whole world. One small beam can cause a large hole, which
is exaggerated and childish.

I did watch it couple of years back, but it ended and went to GT which I thought was terrible.

There was also the fact half the things contridicted each other and generally didn't make sense.

Yeah it's stupid but it's just as cool.Well not really cool.It was just seeing Vegeta kicking ass in the Frieza saga.I just liked some parts because of that.

Yeah the voice of the English version waas really retarded, but they had a spanish version too which was way more retarded XD

Oh man, I can't even try to explain how crazy I was over DragonballZ. I tried to get home every Saturday to catch the new episode. But yeah, I think GT kinda' ruined it. The story seemed really....not-well-thought-out to me. I liked Dragonball, too. I thought it was kinda funny when Goku first met Bulma and he saw her naked and got all confused. :D

I have watched all of the Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT sagas... I enjoyed Dragonball Z the best because it was the first to air where I am from and I just loved it... Favorite villan... Garlic Jr...

I watched DBZ and the movies, they were really awesome, I was also in a clan for a quake3 mod called bid for power (based on dragonball Z) back in 2001

I remember first watching this and being so confused, I was like, "Okay, so he can turn his hair from black to blonde... and that guy has purple hair and can change it to blonde... o..k.." Then I learned why, and I was hooked! I couldn't stop watching until GT... I hated that show...

I still have to see the movies too. thank god that y're a dutchie, Zid, i totally agree. but i am thinking of making a game of DBz, but i don't know where to start, for a few reasons:
> who the F is the main character? can you choose? other storyline then?
> same storyline as the series? or else a movie with all characters?
with the official story line you are forced to use certain characters.
many questions, and a lot of time to think about it. but anyways good anime, what did i said? great !

I watched dragon ball z i thought it was awesome, i mean with all the ki energy just by putting ur hands forward is so cool!

but then dragon ball gt, it's no surprise that the original creators decided to stop at "z", then some guys thought it would be great to make more after buu, kind of a totally crap idea!

Personally, I can't stand Dragonball Z or GT, mostly because the characters scream so much, you'd think they were constipatated and another, it's extremly repetitive and predictable; they are pretty much like this,

"HAH!!! I have reached my FINAL FORM!!! MUHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!!!"
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Holy crap he's Super Saiyan! Oh No!"
"AAAHHHHHHH!!!! KAMEHAMEHA!!!!"
"OH SH................... (dead)."
"HAH!!! But i'm stronger! I'll kill you!"
"AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!"
"Oh f***, his power level is over 5 million! He must be super saiyan 2!"
"Share your energy!"
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"AHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh................ (dead again)."

And that just happens about 5 times with a twist or two here and there. Anyone have fiber pills?

Had a decent story but was butchered mostly from all the cheering, goofy and giggly little fankiddies who all thought the constant grappling, energy blasting and constipational noises were cool.

The manga was still good, despite this. Read that instead :P
