Ageing with forums

This is to talk about how long you guys have been doing forums and what forums you guys have done.

For me i been doing forums for around 6 years. My first one was FF:WA. Being my first forum and me being young I spammed and plagerised a lil. But after thet I joined a forum called FFCC. I learned the besics here and started to make friends. After while it was gone and I moved on to a music forum with my friends ryan and erik. EOR was its initials thats when i started to become an admin and learned how to make them and use them. After a year there i disapeared offline for while, after I came back my friend ryan introduced me to his newest one TGP I am still an active member there. I went browsing and I saw this one and this is thee newest forum Iv'e joined.

My first forum was Final Fantasy Extreme, I joined up shortly after playing FF7. I didn't actually spam, it was a pretty strict forum and if you spammed, even if you was a newbie that was an immediate warning. I later then joined a forum which I cant remember the name of, but it was to do with Zelda even though I hadn't played it, an ex-boyfriend of mine joined it and asked me to, so I did. I then joined FFA [Final Fantasy Arena], where I ment many friends including Aeyze =D and some others, but i dont think they come here. During that period I had made my own site and a forum using wBB. Aeyze (Frostbite at the time) asked me to join here, so I did. I wasn't really active, FFA was my main home. Then one of my friends who I ment off FFA, made a site and forum, which I became staff of that was then my second home. But then, FFA starting having problems and closed down. So the site I was staff on becam e my first home, UFF (Ultimate final fantasy) and then a friend from FFA had a forum and site, which I knew about and joined but visited once didnt think it was still open, so I re-joined there. Became a webmistress and admin on there. So that then became my second home, after a month or so UFF attracted a few spammy members and everything got screwed up, their host starting giving crap and everything that eventually closed down, so I then ended up moving HHN to my first home, keeping the other site second which was called Final Fantasy Future. I havent joined any others except some random RMXP ones but thats about it.

I can't remember her name (It's a guilt trip now, this'll be bothering me for the day >_>) I met Lance there too, and he linked me to HHN, I joined, and after a while I bacame a mod... then an S-mod, and then an Admin, and I still am. HHN is my home xD But other sites I frequent are some forums of my FFXI friends, and Defied Dreams, a website run by one of the people I knew from FFArena xD

My first forum was... http://www.doa2hc.com which is a Dead Or Alive fan site. There I met Zenn and Pie. Got along well with Pie, Zenn was o kay, then me and Pie started hating each other. Zenn and i became friends, then eventually me and Zenn fell out when I joined here, invited by Zenn.
A month before I joined here I joined http://www.chuckpalahniuk.net/community it's a community website dedeicated to the writings of a man named Chuck Palahniuk who's responsible for the book that the movie Fight Club was based on. He's written many other books, and they're always enjoyable to read. He's also done some non fiction, some essays in dangerous writing styles, and non fiction magazine articles. Most recently a selection of short stories all linked to one main story.
Then I joined HHN.Since then I've joined a few other various forums, but HHN has always remained my home forum.

Been on too many, HHN is one of the only I've stuck at. I think there was two before it, and many MANY since. But still, apart from a small forum I rp at, HHN is my only home at the moment.

Very first time I went to a proper forum and stuff was like two years (around early 03). It was called Yu-Gi-Oh Network (yeah I know... x_x) and like it was pretty cool and stuff. I was on Neopets (hey I still played a bit back then, xD) and like I was looking at some dude's profile and it had this Yugi[MON]oh background and there was this link showing where he got it from. So I went there and looked at the site and on the affilates or something there was a button to YN. So I clicked on it and checked it out, a pretty weird looking site I thought, but I registered and stuff. Looking around and everything I was like... ehhh.... how does this work exactly? I soon find out about posts and threads and stuff like that, didn't know much more.I was a real n00b back then too. Two - four months later (I met some cool people and stuff and well yeah got the hang of forums... though still didn't know much about basic HTML coding, [IMG] coding (well whatever THAT's called.... the one that uses [ & ] tags) and signatures) the forum... uhh... I dunno I was away for a few days but like when I got back it basically was screwed and well... yeah got closed, I dunno why, but a long time later I met a guy who knew the admins and told me "his story" to what happened. Anyways I went to BlueXL (forget how) which was basically another Yugimon forum and yeah.... I still go to a forum with several (well... maybe many?) of those people from YN. I forget how I tripped on to FFArena, but that was like how I came to HHN - off FFArena.

Yeah, long ass story, xD. I've got more, but you'll be dead by then.

Ive been on quite few, I think my firstone had to deal with kingdom hearts...dont remember anyways it wasn't a great experience but I learned basics of [img] still trying to remember [html] keep on forgeting. Then I was on ffx2...not so great gaia which is also the same time I cam here and this is ht only place I actually come and talk about actual topics rather than just junk (gaia).

I've been on a couple, never really sticked with any of them for long though.

I ended up finding HHN at the end of last year and made this my regular forum.

HHN has been the 'main' forum I've been on for a while now, 'cause it rocks.

I was on a GameCube one once, but got bored, so left after about a month.
And on a website I occasionally write for I sometimes pop on by on their forums...

but HHN is the one for me :D

I've probably had more accounts on forums than you guys have had roast beef. Anyway, I've been posting on various boards since May 2003 and I've had some good times, but I've had bad experiences too. I did try and create my own forums. The first attempt was basically a Resident Evil board, then I did one for multiple games. Now I'm content with TotallyDC because I'm no good at running a successful community.

let see my first was ffdg a good site to start out with but it got hacked and depleated away. then legendary frog forums darkened eternity was good but it became home to spammers with only one mod well two but the other joined the spamming and flaming so i left it. then here.

Then i found HNH. i have some other smaller forums I check in on but HNH is the only one I have as my homepage or ever set as my homepage and check every like 5 minutes or so ^^

Lol, my first forum was like...6 years ago, CrashCorner (I was big into Crash bandicoot games at the time :P). I was a spammer, seriously. xD And I double-posted all the time too, haha. Dunno why they made me a mod. o_o;
Well anyway, that place went down, and I then went to Crash Place (I must visit that place again soon!), and after that, a huge other no. of random places.
Nowadays, HHN is really the only one I frequent though. My forum craze is long over. :P

It's your homepage too?! Whew, I thougt I was the only one.:D Anyway,yeah...I wasn't really into forums sites until about 2 years ago, when I found SquareUltima. It had an RPG hack, which I though was really cool, so I stuck around, and got into the habit of posting. Anyway, I kinda' got tired of it, and like a month later, I found HHN!:D and this place has been my online home ever since!

Yeah HHN is my homepage too lol. It's like the main forum I go to and stuff, usually the one I check first (except sometimes I check the smaller ones then go to HHN last, xP). And Kim, Crash Bandicoot? I loved that game back when only the PSOne was around, it was so damn fun, xD. Wow you were like my age now when you started going to forums.... does that mean i'll be like you? A scary thought indeed O_o =P
