Well, I felt really out-of-the-loop because I don't have FFXI, so I decided to start my own thread! :P
Post up screenshots of any online games that aren't Final Fantasy!

And I deleted all of my WoW screenshots ;( Some of them were my char. looking like an idiot dancing (yes there's a dance emote <3 Gotta love the Night Elf one, the male one is like so Michael Jackson, xD) and stuff like that. Dude I have never heard of that game o_o Well maybe i'll take some screenies of other games I play.... Like Quake III when i'm about to blast off someone's head =D

this is my lvl 45 archer in a game called Kal Online. I love my bow :D the picutre is bad because my settings are all set to low to decrease lag

Well if you look at my avatar that's a part of a screenshot I took of my character. He was sitting down on a caravan rooftop (yeah I had an obssesion with getting on all the caravan rooftops (some were impossible) and dance! Certain objects near the caravans allowed me to get there, xD. I think it was like four or five different towns had caravans which I jumped on), but I made him dance. Since he was sitting down however, only the upper part of the body moved. Yeah I just added text and if you look carefully, he's weapon is a stick! =O I found this nice staff so I thought i'd just use it... and if I show the version without text (full version gone though) you can see my guild's emblem (probably gone by now, xD).

Well, dude, the thing about KalOnline is that there's only one server, and once you reach lvl 11 you have the ability to sell your items in a store interface type thing. And anyway, a lot of people do it. So if you play it, you'll see a lot of people just sitting down waiting for people to buy their items.

Ya, i'm in a town when I took that screenshot. There is only 1 server (it's beta) so when you go near/into towns to a) lag alot and b) see a shit load of shops. You can also hatch an egg which will allow you to transform into animals in kal. There are 3 types.
Tiger
The tiger gives strength boosts when you have ot equip. This is ment for knights, you don't have to get a tiger if you are a knight and can get one if you are an archer or mage. It is also the second faster animal.

Panther
The panther gives mostly agility boosts. This is the one ment for archer but almost everyone wants/has one. It's the most popular and is worth the most. It's the fastest animal you can get, with this you can run faster than anything else in the game.

Bird
The mage animal, it gives intel boost mostly so most mages have this. It's the slowest animal so it's not very popular.

I'll go get screenshots of all these animals (I have all 3) and post em :D Also, you get your egg at lvl 15 (quest) and it will gain exp every kill and every 10 minutes automatically. It takes awhile to hatch an animal since it has to be grade 11 to transform with it and it starts at grade 0. Another thing about transforming is if you look at the bottom of my screenshots there is a blue bar. That's your rage. While you are transformed you loose rage.

yes, and yes, can download eve from www.eve-online.com, think you have to pay to start a new account though, and then there is a monthly fee afterwards

Aww man, I was looking for free servers a while ago, can't seem to find any. And I don't think free servers'll help if I have to pay for a new account...Damn. It looked pretty cool, too. I've been looking for a new Online game for a while...You know any others?
for free servers ragnarok online, lineage2, and world of warcraft are the easiest to find, atm im playing on the officials for world of warcraft, eve, swg, planetside, FFXI, and matrix online, would recommend all but matrix because the effect bugs annoy me, also anarchy online is running a free version of there game which allows you to play the game but not the expansion content, dont know if it has lvl cap or anything on the free version either

I heard in Eve Online you cna get real money, is that true? Like actuall $$$
dont know about making money in the game itself, but alot of people spend allday with 4 or 5 active accounts mining and selling rare ores, skill books, and rare items on ebay, i think its sad really
ppl do that on any mmorpg really... in fact ppl do that on neopets, lol. I'll try to get some screens of my char on WoW... he's only level 13 right now cuz I had to start a new acct, but I'm getting up there.

I despise the people who just get those games and leave their character repetitively doing one thing over and over again for money or XP, without input of any kind. All these AFK macros and shit.

you can earn money in project entropia, hell, it's a free MMORPG that uses REAL money... so you have to charge your char... and earning is way more difficult then spending XD

^ ROFL. I saw some these guys talking about something about dancing naked or some crap (like as in the chat server, whatever) I went to the area where they said they were and there were some people watching and yeah.... someone counted down and on 1 they all /dance (all had to be warriors so it was the same dance) and ZOMG funny sh*t. Some people screwed it up (like some other monk started dancing infront) and crap like that. A few left and they tried a circle but people (purposely obviously and espeically this one player) went in the middle and screwed it up basically. They tried elsewhere and after that I just left so I dunno what happened lol.
I'll take some more like tomorrow. Oh and with the third picture - with some of the models looking like bits of their bodies are disappearing - I guess that's how crap my comp is lol. I mean when I did take the screenshot the screen froze for a few mintues xP.

I took like a new screenshot of my armour, but the same thing happened as it did with the third picture in my previous post - bits of my character model everywhere were like invisible and it wasn't just my char. same thing with this other dude who happened to get in the shot lol. WEIRD MAN.

wtf is Straight Soc? lol. I'm assuming a society full of straight people? What about those who aren't in that society =O And more importantly, what are with this "societies"? Is it like a UK thing or what? (I don't know of anything like that here).

Auron, most universities have societies or clubs, which are just collections of like-minded individuals. I'm a member of the Rock society, but, disgusted by the overwhelming Gay of the society, started my splinter group of StraightSoc :D
So would sort of be like how in the States they have Sarorities (yeah I know I spelt that wrong but I think you can work out what I mean xD I have no clue how to spell it - just guessed) or something? Only a little different, like more of a group for a certain thing rather than some special club?

Nothing like a fraternity or sorority - for a start, we're not gender-specific, and each has a single choice in what they do (e.g. you join the rock society because you like rock music, you join the airsoft society because you like airsoft, that kinda thing)

Yeah I figured that part out (like a group for a certain interest or because of what they are and yeah also figured out the not-being-gender-specific thing too xP). Anyways back on topic, I took some new screenshots and they actually turned out normal and not fecked up lol. Yeah I need to stop takin' pictures of my char. lol, maybe i'll find something interesting to take a pic. of, like another one of those naked dancing things them people were doing lol. You download it off some site yeah? Well that's got some pretty good graphics for free downloadable game lol. And your character has one weird hairstyle, same goes with your shield :P Lemme guess, Warrior class? Or whatever class is like a warrior lol. STFU >.> OMFG, there's mini-pets which follow you around when you activate them (I believe outside of town) which do absolutely nothing but look cool! There's lots of them, repsenting different creatures in the game (only mini-size) and whatnot, but your -character- (not account) has to be one year old and then when you log in it'll automaticaly be in your inventory.

The one on the right is our Guild Leader, he's wearing the Pumpkin Head thing that was avaliable at the Halloween event (last year).

I'll probably get this game in summer, most of the people I know that played it say it's fun and not tedious (unlike FFXI). Best of all no monthly fee =D
So keep popping out those screenshots. :P Which of the professions do you guys think is fun to play (and which aren't)?
GW >> All are fun, just depends on your taste. Which one are you getting? Prophecies (original) or Factions? Or both maybe? =O I would suggest getting both and start off with Prophecies (unless you plan to make a character with one of the new professions) and then going into Cantha, might take awhile though lol. And if your into PVP, you'll find GW very full of it.
If your into the caster sort of thing, well again it depends. Do you like healing, giving support, protection, etc? Then go with Monk or Ritualist, Necromancer also is a support class (while also being an attack) with various builds it plays. Elementalist is pretty obvious, basically a mage with Fire, Water, Air and Earth magic. While Mesmer is like an Illusionist, it has interupts, degens, blockout skills (so stopping a person from doing stuff), energy draining, when a person does something they take damage or whatever, etc - kind of hard to explain.
Warrior is also pretty obvious and Ranger is just an Archer. You can have a pet and it has alot of bow attacks, prepartions (stuff you cast that increase your damage of your bow attacks or liek add stuff to it so eg. they cause poison or whatever), traps, etc. Yeah just tell me what you prefer and i'll try and suggest a class.

Woah even your in Vixene's guild, I might join for like 2 weeks, even though my old guild broke up and went off to join random ones, it's reforming in like 2-4 weeks or so. Guild Leader wanted a break and shit, though I found another nice guild but yeah, whatever.

Yes, there is an assassin job, its in the factions game. There are 2 CD's

Xyrin: There's an Assassin, Elementalist, Mesmer, Monk, Necromancer, Ranger, Ritualist and Warrior. Mind you there are so many Assassin noobs out there it's not even funny >.> Assassin CAN be a good class if played well, but very can do just that. An assassin's job is to go out there and lurk around, then when the party is low on hp, he shadow steps in and finishes him off lol. By the way if you only play to play an Assassin, then I suggest you stick with just buying Factions (2nd game), but if your going to play other classes as well I would suggest getting both, so you can get the other (quite important) skills. How it works is there's Core skills, which you can get from all the campaigns, and then there's skills that you can only get in that specific campaign.
Yeah anyway i've got roughly 100-200 screenshots of the Dragon Festival event but i'm too lazy to edit them and whatnot -_- Maybe sometime when i'm not playing GW i'll choose some and edit them and post 'em here. Me, 3 guildies and some other alliance members (and 1 or 2 other friends) were in Shing Jea Monastery International 1 before the end of the festival. We started up this massive sync dance party along with people from the guild [boat], well just me + the 3 guildies, then some [boat] members, then other random joined in. Some people occasionally joined in and ruined it before whatever lol.

GW >> I wouldn't worry about getting Factions for now. Since your playing a core class, just finish the Tyrian campaign then move to Cantha, so prob. shouldn't buy it just yet =/ Maybe wait for it to get cheaper or something in my opinon, but yeah. That's cool, i'll add ya when I get on tomorrow.
Lol my guild was ranked 69 on the ladder at one point, damn lots of good guilds were out there during the start of the GWFC Open Event -_- We only ended up winning one match though I reckon we had an opportunity to win this other one if our Smiter Monk hadn't d/ced at the beginning and our Boon Prot Monk hadn't lagged at the beginning >.> Yeah i'll post screenies of that xD. I think it's a better idea to make a Guild Wars thread rather than go off topic in here ><
