Just got this game the other day and I must say, IT ROCKS!!!!!! although its really hard to decide whether I want to be nice or EVIL!!!!!!!! evil usually wins though lol.
Anyway, anyone else got this game on PC or Xbox?

He must be talking about the first one, since Xbox 360 isnt out yet..and Fable 2 still hasn't been confirmed

No, this is NOT the first one. Well I don't think it is anwyay.
I believe this is the "expansion-like" one which I think is ONLY out on PC. It's like an expansion to Fable (like the Halo PC version) on Xbox with more levels, weapons, etc.... I think, xD. I could be wrong though, but I THINK that's what it is. Yeah Fable is cool (Xbox version) <3 Awesome RPG, way too short (finished it under 9 hours excluding some optional quests)and rather easy (maybe cause I playing on Normal though or was it easy? I dunno but I don't think I chose hard... if there was a hard O_o).

Yeah, it's the first one pretty much remastered and added onto, and it's currently only out for PC.
It's slated for an October 2005 Xbox release.
I don't have it... I can't really think about playing an RPG like that on my computer. lol

Yeah same, it's more of a controller-type RPG. Games like MMORPG's, Bladur's Gate, Icewind Dale, etc are more suited for PC not ones like Fable, xP.
Fable: the lost chapters is the original Fable (on Xbox) optimized for the PC :P same game just on PC not Xbox (and it has new missions and evil things)
So yes, Von-gee it is the FIRST one, only it's now been brought out for the PC. Not much difference except a few more quests, weapons and some other stuff
With not much added to this it isnt really Wow! material for me, I played and beat it on xbox with little effort...became all evil...nothin else to do once u beat it...prt2 better have a girl/guy option and 2 player...

Yeah that'd be cool, you can choose a girl or guy instead and also play like maybe co-op mode or something like that (such as Baldur's Gate, etc). Though you can play it on Xbox Live (for the Xbox version obviously), but I dunno how that all works. Fable 2 hopefully will be alot better (not saying that the first one was bad just that there could of been alot more things added on).

It will be better if not Im destroying my friends xbox 360!!! when he gets it of course :P
I want the game to be longer, I was hoping the game would have been much much longer... but that was the ONLY dissappointment about it. Would have also been fun to actually raise a full family.... and for everyone else around to age as well and not just your character.

Oh I forgot to add "I HOPE it will be like this" xD. I don't know anything about the new Fable, the things I said before were just what I hope will be on the new one, lol. And yeah it was rather short. A full family? That'd be cool, like there'd be some thing where you could teach your kid(s) various things, then when they grow up their strength, skill, magic, etc will be based on how much your taught them during their childhood.

So how long did it take you guys to finish the game (for those who have played it)? Cause with the first one it took me under 9 hours, though I forgot to do about 5 or so optional quests, though I know some people who have done all (or atleast most, missing only one or so) and finished under the same time. So yeah the first one was pretty sure, thought maybe they'd make the expansion alot longer, or well atleast give you several hours more of main quests. And was the ending the same? Kill Jack of Blades and choose between keeping the sword, but killing your sister or throwing away the sword and being good?

That must be another "addition" to the game, since I was talking about the original one, since in that one you just defeat Jack of Blades in his normal form and when you do you get to keep the Sword of Aeons (but kill your sister and have alot of evil points) or throw the Sword of Aeons into some vortex (and gain ALOT of good points). Does that happen to the expansion when you defeat Jack?
I am wanting to get this game for Christmas, it looks so awesome, and I love Fable in general. I love how every decision and choice determines who you turn out to be and how you look and such. I hope I get it -.-

yeah but the game doesn't end there you have to go on to face a new threat, "The Summoners" on the northern most continent. etc etc etc
It's not that long though
The nothern continent? Is it called Dragon's Gate or something like that? I remember on the original Fable you could see a place with a name like that on the map but you could never get there (and I had finished the game, xP). And who are "The Summoners", that is... if you don't mind explaining, xP.

Yeah dragons gate was where all the extra bit took place and the summoners (if i remember correctly) were just some new threat, their origin was from dragons gate (I think). When dragons gate finally opened you meet The Dragon jack of blades.

Is that a screenshot you took? If so i'm guessing that's your character, right? Interesting look xP. Oooo what's all that lightning around your sword and stuff? The clothes your wearing looks like the Assassin outfit only brown and different patterns on the clothes O_o Well okay could you tell me the storyline of the Summoners and why you have to defeat them, how the gates open, blah blah blah, etc xD. Yes i'm a very curious person and like spoilers and like asking alot of questions =D "Dragon Jack of Blades"? So that's just Jack of Blades in a dragon form right? And that's after you beat him normally in the Guild of Heroes, yes? [ASKING-TOO-MANY-QUESTIONS ALERT AKA. BEING-ANNOYING ALERT] XD.
very very very good game but i traded in my xbox
Played this game alot earlier, loved the way the system was made out, progressing through missions and choosing between the classic Diablo 1 selection, Mage, archer, Melee. I found it to be too short but i guess it's as long as you make it yourself, if you do every single mission without a guide your going to be playing a while, it's a game you should try.
