This remains one of my favourite action films. It brings tears to my eyes at times. The sequels were all decent but nothing compares to the excellence that is Rocky.
I really should get the DVDs.

All of the characters are amazing, from Paulie to Mickey to the champ himself. In my opinion, Rocky should have beat Apollo but he gets even in the sequel. ;)

I hated the way the series ended though. It didn't really open any new doors for his son. So is there anything about another movie yet? I still think Sylvester Stallone can do it. I mean, he's about to start filming the next Rambo movie.

god damnit grace i only saw the one with the russian dude now im pissed at you and there not typical action movies they show great emotion and people can relate to the characters and i heard the first one was really good because rocky is with his first trainer and him and rocky grow a great relation ship with eachother and become family basically.

But they are predictable. Like when Rocky gets degraded by the challenger, he gets even because he is the hero.
I like how his first fight with Apollo Creed gave him the momentum he needed for the sequel. He won a lot of fans. Rocky III and Rocky IV don't have the quality feel of the earlier movies in my opinion because Rocky has become the typical hero. I prefered him when he was a nobody. Because in Rocky III he let fame go to his head and in Rocky IV his family gets a robot that must be worth millions. :eek:

Anyways I like the rocky movies, not the best but fun to watch, I heard they were going to make another rocky movie, read it in a magazine awhile ago.
