More bombs aparantly gone off in the tube stations and on tubes

Sightings of rucksacks exploding, and smoke etc. Even had guys in chemical suits in the subway. Looks like fun times for London, what you all think about it?

MORE?!?

Sh!t.... That's...really crap...

I was on my local train the other day, and there was a bomb scare. The metro doors had to stay closed in the heat wave for about an hour and the metros had to stay still. Better safe than sorry though!!

I hope it all stops...It's not good....

It happened again, damn. Luckely the explosions weren't hard like first time, only 1 person got injured. But it really scares the people there. I feel with them...

What gets me though is that this time they seem to have done nothing at all... yet seem to be the same explosives used last time that caused more devastation.

Luckily this seems to have been a hastily planned and poorly executed terrorist attack - and I say again, luckily. Hope there will not be another attack.

The frustrating thing is that, even though arrests were made after the Thursday bombings, nobodies got any idea who's *really* behind it, co-ordinating these attacks, even though the one earlier was somewhat futile. Other then some statements on the internet from some obscure group that nobodies heard about ( And even then, it's highly likely it's probably not this Al-quaeda jihad in Europe, or whatever they call themselves)

god... this is getting insane. And they're saying Canada is next on the hit list... this has been going on too long. I'm sick of wondering where those terrorist bastards are going to strike next... it's been happening everywhere over the last couple of years. Kind of makes you sit and think... what if next time it happens here... to me, or pleople I know... that whould spawn a whole new hatred for whoever is doing it. I can't wait until they find out who's doing it and punish them all. Make them feel the suffering that they've inflicted on thousands apon thousands o people.

MY aunty was in the bus behind the one that exploded.

And the one that exploded was evacuating from the tube. >_< I swear if I get my hands on the people that arranged those bombs i'm going to pluck all their hairs one by ONE! O_O

I know how you feel, my Uncle lives in London and uses the tube to commute to work daily. Got to feel sorry for the families of the bombers involved, as far as I know they hadn't a clue what their husbands/sons/brothers (etc.) were going to do, I can't imagine what that feels like.

And another think that irks me incredibly is the fact that some people are too blind to see that not everyone from the same ethnic background as the extremists shares their views. One of the mosque's in one of the larger towns near where I live has to have armed security guards outside it now since Thursday after they recieved some very nasty death threats onto their answer phone, today doesn't help matters in the least.

Half my family lives in central london, and works in london. Heh... The people who lost loved ones have my sympathy.

Hmm...That is truely sad. =/

Apparently though those bombs were only detonators and the real proper bombs didn't go off for some reason, well that's what they think. Man, stupid terrorists they ruined my weekly dose of Footy Show! It interrupted the program and like >.> FRICKIN TERRORISTS. There was still like 10 minutes left, and yeah -_- Fags.....

Back to the subject, the thing is it makes people in other countries kinda worried and scared, if they're going to bomb their country next. Like here, they've increased some secruity and "If you see anything suspicious call the Anti-Terroist Hotline" ads, and stuff like that. So yeah, it makes people around the world pretty much scared if it's going to happen to them.

Terrorism sucks. I have a couple of friends in London, who I worry about. Isn't England going to have the olympics when it's olympic time again? I hope security is beefy when it rolls along.

Stupid police, there's no real proper excuse for why they killed him, so what if they "suspected" him... And though it was the terrorist who started the whole bombing thing and make police high on secruity, etc.... They did the shooting, they pulled the trigger and they were the ones who put five bullets in the poor guy's head, not the terrorists...

Lei

I agree with you there.

I was just listening to the radio, and the news came on... It was talking about it, and something the reporter said was about how the Chief said they couldn't risk it, and it was one man's life over so many others. Shot 5x in the head...One shot and he would be pretty dead...>.<

That's a HORRIBLE thing. But the police are obviously going to continue to defend the actions they took, of course... I still think it was out of order...>.<

I hope, hope, HOPE this all gets sorted. It's so horrible..

couldn't take the risk? what hthe hell? if you can't take the risk, lets NUKE every country that hasn't sent us a christmas card in the last 20 years AND then say "Oh, we couldn't take the risk, sorry!"

That cop it a idiot. Because he suspected it he shot the poor guy. What an idiot.

No one knows how it feels to lose someone unless theyve actually lost them...I dont want to go through that again...and certainly having the person I love be in a place that is now in constant danger is deffenetly not a fun thing...War is stupid...how would they feel if the people that were dying now were those dear to them and not just someone they saw going down the street? Maybe they should think about that for a change. And Mr Chris...attitudes and coments such as those just made by you are the reasons that all of these bombings are occuring.

The police has done this before,

Sixthcrusifix
31-07-2005, 07:48
well I have lost people but somehow I think it's even more traumatic when you lose them in something tragic like a bombing or accident. I'm glad the police are acting swiftly but they must not act without reason, it defeats the purpose.

Chris

The police has done this before,

But it doesn't mean we can't be disgusted by it.

Dale Anthony

I think it's ridiculous the police would shoot because they felt threatened. It would be nice to have someone who could speak a different language on the force instead of having a bunch of butch gits who want to be heroes.

Sixthcrusifix

Jesus, what's with all the bombs??? Don't you guys know, you can't hug your kids with nuclear bombs!?!?!? (But then again who'd want to?? )

Well I feel sorry for ya, but you have at least one thing to be proud of. In England only other countries try to bomb the English, in America the AMERICANS try to bomb other Americans. Must be nice to be hated and not self-hating.

America is a place of many many cultural differences. Of course there is going to be unrest here.

Nah, it's not new to me that Americans bomb themselves but at the same time...hmm...why are they aiming for one city in the UK, and five or so in the states?

Chris
05-08-2005, 11:13
'cause terrorists think London is the only city that matters.

But if there were no terrorist you'd be constantly wondering what OTHER horrible thing Karma had cooked up for you. I'd rather know what I have to fear than be wondering.
