Oh gawd, I'm really not sure, it might've been Kaede/Dom/Nidine (and all those other usernames ou got xD) back on FFArena under the guise of Valefor, I knew Yuna_03 pretty well, but we were never exactly amazing friends. Probably Dom, then I got to know Lance (not Lancer, different person) and he showed me here and I got to know a load of great people like Graeme and Mirae and stuffs.
These girls, one was called Mia, can't remember the rest and a guy called Leon - He never did tell me his real name. haha. Lost contact, unfortunetly! Shame though. Then I found my way here...

My first friend on the Internet goes back to the days I payed for Dial-Up. This is like way back in 2000. Erm...it was a Canadian guy I think. It was on Yahoo! and I ain't spoke to him in ages. There was also a girl called Hayley who just stopped coming online, so I lost contact with her lol.

An Estonian dude by the name of Peep, who I met playing a MUD game many years ago. We're still in contact, and are working on our own MUD right now (Just waiting to switch servers so I have access to the files, at the moment)

Thats a good question, and I would probably say this guy called Matt I met on diablo years ago.
I havn't spoken to him in a long time, don't think he comes online much anymore.

Ooh! My first friend I met from the net offline was.. Sammie, but she lived somewhat 40 miles away from me so it was no big deal. I met her thriough a real life friend. The first time I went anywhere I didn't know was to Redcar in England to visit Nicole and Ash, and they were awesome people, but things have changed with them now, I don't think I'll meet them again, maybe I will.
Staying with Mirae and Tsuji over in Ireland was amazing though, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking, when I was leaving I was co njuuring plans to quit my job and go to school with Kim and Maarten XD I wouldn't have been able to afford it though, but I really did want to /sigh

well, i never made friends online. i never liked to get too close to people, cause i was always really wary and stuff. this is the first forum i've joined and been active on. ummmmmm chris introduced me to hender on msn, and the rest, as they say, is history lol

In terms of first person I met...or interacted with in the outside World instead of online, it'll probably be my friend Buakanya from Thailand. Ain't wrote to her in awhile though...probably should. lol

I never made any close internett friends. I just don't do that.
My first online friend... This chick 2 years younger than me, I met her on one of those TV SMS chats. I answered a question she had on FFX, and she told me to join SquareSpirit.net forums (I dunno what site is on there now, but its not the same old). From there it went to a few random forums then BlackMageBrothers, then FFA, then my own site/forum.
That girl helped me find my first online gf. Im not sure if I want to thank her or kick her for that, but meh :P
The first close-ish online friend people I can think of right now are Mirae and Tsuji, I can't think of anyone before them. Though the first online person I met in person was someone fromt he same place.

Hmmmm tis a difficult question! I THINK my first internet friend was Hender or Chris, since this was my first ever forum. I don't think there was anyone before that. And those two are the first people I actually met up with. Although as you know I was at the HHN meet-ups so I've met others as well! ^^

First buddy online was someone I met in a chatroom on yahoo a VERY long time ago. Her account name was animequeen at the time and I learned her real name was Nicole. We were good friends and talked online for about 5yrs, then she had to move so we talked my normal mail for awhile, then one day the letters stopped and I havent spoken to her since.

OOH! Yeah, I remember now! One of my first net buddies was this girl named Kara. She lived in Japan and we were, like, penpals. Yeah, it was cool because she taught me a lot of Japan stuff....Aww, those were the days...
Phil. He was my first internet friend and he was from Toronto Canada. We shared some of the same interests but not the same liking in music. He worked at a shop for extra cash because of him working during the week so he took on two jobs. He was an easy going guy and we were great friends and we would talk all evening. I just don't understand why he won't talk to me anymore? I didn't do anything wrong. Close friends are not what they seem. :confused:
My first online friend was a girl named Ally I met in an AOL chatroom. The first night I met her was my first all nighter on the PC, lol, I was an internet noob. I stayed up all night talking to her, literally hooked on internet chatting in a night. She was from Manchester.
After that came Tina who I also met in an AOL chatroom. But she changed, used to be cool and into same music as me, then she went all preppy and became total beeitch.
And there was Shelly, also from Manchester... god damn she was ****ed up, I could tell you a few stories, LOL She wanted to meet me, and I kept saying no, but my dad lived in her area and like a year after I met her I was visiting my dad so I caleld her and said fi she wanted to meet me she could the next day, well she declined, lol, oh well, shit happens.

I think though the first real internet friend, and one who I maintain to be a friend to this day would be Anthony Hernandez from Jacksonville, Florida.
We met in an online text based RPG called UARRPG2, and there were clans there. After the first year we started a new game, I was weak and didnt get too much into it first year, I had a crappy character, so I got a good one this time, and I made my own clan (Unholy Alliance for life! it made me make my first GFX.. in paint!) and Anthony played a character called Kuja and he was in Dave (the owner of the RPG's) clan and we had suspicions Dave's clan was cheating, as they were all alot stronger, but we all did the same stuff (though I could have killed them if I went all out and got the first move) and I got talking to Kuja who agreed to be our spy and he confirmed Dave was a cheat, so yeah. We became friends after that, exchanged all sorts of music, he was heavily into christianity though, so his choice of music was tamer to mine, though I tried to convert him.
Yeah he as a really great friend, I met his sister too online, we exchanged christmas cards one year and I have a picture of Anthony and his sister still. Despite having very different tastes to Anthony he was one of my best friends foro the good part of a year and a half. I never see him online now, I suspect he went to college this year, he would have, her's a year older than me I think.
He used to have a huge crush on this girl in school, she was a blonde, lol, I kept trying to give him tips but he was always too nervous to do something about it. I wonder if that ever worked out. I wonder what he's studying (probably English).

Besides the one I mentioned before, there is another person who I met online about the same time, but cant remember who I talked to first. I did a random AOL buddy search for common interests and found this dude named umm David. His sn was FinalxGohan. We had allot of the same interests and talked allot but now hes is in college I believe and after about 3yrs of chatting we split ways. That was about 3yrs ago.
My first real internet friend was on HHN (since i joined pretty much the day i got the internet). My first friend was scott (aka manick) but i think the person ive become the best friends with (and hwom ive known the longest since a lot of you are really good friends ;) ) was Gareth, (aka Tharrick/Mr smileyface/Mr Stabby/Mr hescomingrightforus)
Probably some person called Sarah off YN - Yugioh Network (hey this was back in 03 when I was KINDA interested in Yugioh, though I didn't bother much with Yugioh stuff xD I still am part of a forum were alot of people from that very old forum/forums connected to it, are members of - just the people there are cool and funny. And the latest one which was made in late 03, several months after YN died, is a dueling forum, but I don't go there for that, xD). Yeah, pretty weird person, not in a bad way though but in a good way, I think O_o lol. I'm not sure, but I THINK she's the first.

i cant remeber his real name his nick was azkazan I met him playing online we played rainbow six and star wars jedi acadamy online He teached me a lot of tricks real cool guy.

I think my first ever real online friend was one of the members here in HHN. You might know her as Kai Hiwatari. I really like her personality... y'kow, being always cheery and all... that's one thing I'll never posses...
My first online friend was someone named TGOS. I met him at ani-misu.com but the site is gone now, and after many moves, it has come back as cyberac.net, but he doesnt log on anymore. He left because he got a girlfriend and couldnt spend as much time online, but he never came back, so I dont know how that turned out. That was about two years ago. He was the leader of a mecha club (about giant robot anime like Gundam) and I met a lot of people I am still friends with there. He was my first online friend, but not by much because after I joined the club, we became friends and then I met a some of the other club members almost immediately and now I have a group of good friends.
Ive never met any of them in real life though because we all live pretty far away from each other. Actually, two of my friends met because they live in the same city, but thats it. The closest person to me is in North Dakota... which beats the guy in Florida by a bit, but then it goes to England and the Netherlands. One of my friends may live in Mexico, so thats close, but Im not sure about it.
I know I went to the same convention (Anime Expo 06) as one of the members of the club, but we didnt meet there.

Err... First online friend, I can't remember well, think it was a person that goes by ~D~ (aka owner of ffnemesis), also a few members from his forums, most notable guy that goes by the name of Sirus, lol, totally f'ing screwed in the head but I still have him on my msn.
First HHN friend though... Well that was a long time ago... Maybe Jack? We both liked FfaF at the time, lol. Jess maybe. Grae too, but we didn't speak to eachother 'till a bit after I joined. Before that though, Archdevil (Arcana) has remained one of my closest friends till this day (minus some complications, don't ask).
As for serious friends/almost relationships... Hah! No comment.

First buddy on the net was in fact a guy called Rao. Met him when I was about 12-13 cause we both liked the Pokemon games (lol) and kept chatting ever since. It was funny though, one time I let him talk to my mom cause she was right behind me (we only had one computer back then), and since then he would keep asking about her, and wanting to talk to her xD I think he liked my mom more than me o.o lmao

I think I met my first friend on the internet in a chat-based RPG. Her name was Sam and we had one of those online relationships that went sour.
I met most of my internet friends here on HHN until I stopped coming around. Grae, Mirae, Manick.
I've managed to forms loads of friendships over myspace that've translated into real life friendships.
the internet is a very small, but expansive pseudo-place.

Ah man... I think his name was Goku4life or something like that. We met like 5 years ago, maybe longer, on the old POL (Playonline) forum when they were advertising Final Fantasy IX and wanting everyone to go to that website for secrets and real tips on the game that the useless walkthrough booklet didn't offer. Anyway, that place is long gone and I haven't seen that guy in a long long time. But he and another guy named Dark zitan was my first buddies.
for me i would have to say dark chaos fro xerocreation he quit a few years back and created ffa but he forgot me (his name changed to dark messagener) he tought me all i know about forum admining so i know a good bit just i get over zealious everynow and then

my first internet friends was on ffarena i knew tidus aka (angelic tidus), faithx, valefore, auron-x, AJ, Ifrits_flame, Tidus X the creator of ffa, all pretty well i also knew Dr. Aeyze and novakane, lanceVarsconi, alkabane-x, yakat, bizzaro, tyduz, dark knight z. i met quite alot of gud friends i still talk to now.
