Confirmed worlds for KHII

Aeyze is in that KH fan-girl mood! PS. If you really don't want any spoilers for the game then don't look >_> Some things are pretty easy to deduce after you've been scanning over screenshots like I have for the past half an hour.

Gathering this on screenshot evidence, feel free to add to it if you can find some I've missed out :3

Steam Boat Willy

My guess is it'll be something akin to the 100 Acre wood in the the original game. Black & White all the way through. I can't imagine much combat, can you? xD


The Castle

For lack of a better name xD z0mg! Maybe you can actually get there this time xD Looks like it could be the world the game starts off on? I'm guessing it's not solely for storyline since if you watch the KH trailor on the japanese website then you can see Sora fighting in an area which looks exactly like I'd imagine the castle gardens looking like. The gang obviously meet up with Queen Minnie (spelling?) and Co.


Beauty and the beast

Can't think of a likely name for this - I hardly think itll be Beauty and the Beast world xD Anywho, looks like another early on world, again, from waching the trailor on the japanese site you can see Sora & Co. fighting Beast about something, and there's shadows in this world too probably some of the first you encounter in the game I guess. =o I want some talking furniture ;_;


Olypmus

One from the original game, probably gonna be arena style too, with storyline thanks to Hades and Auron - one of the new FF characters into the game, who I imagine takes a role somewhat similar to Cloud's in the original - and crap loads of heartless.

Personal downer for me. Disney > Pirates of the Carribean. Plus I think the mix of two totally different graphics styles messes it p >__> But then again that's just me, it might be great, but I seriously thing someone was smoking something when they said "Lets put in... Hercules, Beaty and the beast.... and PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN!" <__<;;

I found neat picture for this one ^_^ Same as the original, cept this time it looks as though it moves on along the storyline of the actual film, 'cause I found a screenshot with Ariel with a man, a human man! Ho noes! Looks like she needs some rescuing again xD.


Ancient China

Definately one of the worlds I'm most looking forward too :3 Mulan was like... my favourite Disney film evar (well, except a few, but then again I <3 Disney films far more then is healthy, hence unealthy love of Kingdom Hearts) One of the two worlds also featured on the Japanese website and in the demo at E3 or something like that. As with some of the original worlds, I'm imagining that Mulan can join your party or something.

Here's the other worlds I still have to do, or at least want to cover as to why they should be in Kingdom hearts II XD

~ Twilight town:
Providing access to all other worlds from whatI've heard, acts as a "base of action" I imagine, similar to Traverse town in the original.

~ Hollow Bastion
I'm 100% sure this'll be appearing in KH again.

~ Castle Oblivion
Appears in KH:CoM and the entire game is centred around there, it's also where Sora finishes the game in so it'd be sensible to assume it features in Kingdom hearts II in some way, but I could be wrong.

~ Haloween Town
Footage of it in the trailor on Japanese ste but I've yet to find any screenshots, will look harder tomorow.

And several more I'm sure.But my fangirl mood has warn off now xD I'll get back to this later.

Cool...ness! Oh man, it looks so nice! Wetting myself! Personally, I think the SteamBoat Willy thing is kinda' cool. Really o-ri-gi-na-lee! I was hoping they wouldn't put the Little Mermaid thingy in it again, but alas. Every game needs a downside, I guess. The Olympus colloseum <.<? thing looks pretty cool, too. What am I saying? Everything looks freakin' cool!!! Any word on the FF characters appearing? It seems to "Disney" and not enough "Square".

everything but pirates of the carabian looks good. Are they really serious about that? that's just messed, the sreenshot looks like someone just slapped a pic of Sora on a screen of a differnet game.

lol Pirates world looks like it sucks, which it probably will, no doubt you'll end up getting the curse, sometimes the stories are to predictable in some worlds XD and the Steamboat one, what can you possibly do on that world? XD The rest look awesome though ^_^

I'm guessing it's gonna be a bit like the 100 acre woods in KH, *snort* can you imagine having to fight in a world like that? But anywho, I'm guessing it's going to be maybe puzzle solving, logical things and stuff, or whatever alternative it is they come up with xD

Oh, and yes, Pirates of the carribean world makes Ayeze cry ; ;

So I'm guessing you don't have any words on the Final Fantasy aspect of it? Seems like Disney is taking over the whole thing and Square is trapped down in the basement working on the battle system and pushing pencils...

Well, asides from Auron in the Ancient Greece ~ Colluseum World nope ; ; Though I'm thinking that Squall/Leon/wtf-he's-called-now & Co. might be reappearing. You can also bet 100% that Selphie, Tidus and Wakka will be appearing again on destiny island ~ I've seen footage from the KHII trailor with Kairi and Selphie in it dressedup in school uniform standing on the beach (At least if it 'ain't school uniform they 're both wearing the same thing >_>;; ) On top of that I've read rumours that characters such as Rinoa, but I cant find any official say-so on the matter ; ; Plus my favourite KHII resource site is down at the moment so I can't double check there >_<

I've got this gameplay clip in it that has Auron and Sora fighting Cereberus, and it has a few other bits to, like Mulan world, but the way you fight looks awesome, especially Drive :D
