Basic info:

5 Hour update lasting from 10-15 PDT (I think, my time conversions suck so I couldn't say what that was in GMT x_x)

~ New CoP areas added for exploration
~ New NPC's added linking in with new CoP area
~ Changes to NPC equipment [Fellowship NPC]
~ New quests revovling around NPC [Fellowship NPC]
~ New items gained through Conquest Points
~ Fixes on quests and missions (CoP ones)
~ NM behaviour changed in certain zones
~ New storage facilities
~ New creatures for BST's to Call Beast

And a load more that I can't be bothered to type out.

Ohhh I'm extremely happy with this update, finally able to Solo more in FFXI...Ohhh finally XD Great update, cant wait til its over :D

Updating at the moment, 1st POL update didn't take very long, about 5 minutes. LMAO, onto the second update fr the game and it's about 1000 files xD This could take a while.

EDIT: Mine done too, sucks that we can't play yet though xD

I'm updating now too. PlayOnline was quickly done (2 min), now it's checking files from FF11 and then it's gonna download the files. :p

Edit 22:26: Update done! Didn't take long, only 30 min. :p

the update didnt take very long but is still about 1hour 30 of maintainance left i think, which is annoying since i deleted my white mage a while back due to every man, woman, child and for good measure family pet has a white mage and now playing a warrior and was gonna do the samurai quest today :(

Yeah, the maintenance is kinda annoying. No FF11 today I think, since the maintenance is done at midnight, and that's kinda late to start playing... :(

Update is ready now, but the maintenance isn't complete yet? what a crock, it was never like that before, i suppose i'll watch Naruto til 11 and then go on FFXI

this new patch also has the new sister Dynamis for Prom, you can upgrade your AF1 to the +1 version. i forgot if its the AF1 or the other AF2 set. the new EXP ring Owns lol for more lvls for my drg and i can get "high jump" :D

The AF upgrade is for the regulare AF, just enhances the stats that are already there, no new stats though ; ; And go drg! Just dinged 60 drg on Opal last night myself ^^

According to their info, they are replacing some actuall server equipment o_O I don't see how that is gonna take 10hrs tho >_>

On Guild Wars when you need an update, you download it subliminally while playing!

yeah, but that didnt even happen, getting 3 jobs to level 10 in 2 days dosnt really constitue playing the game.
